It was a pleasure to welcome Shri K N Damo ji, Director of Tourism, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh, to the 6th edition of Simang-Siang Angling Fest-2024 at the picturesque Boleng Town, Siang District.

Angling tourism is emerging as a key driver of eco-friendly tourism, offering visitors a unique experience while promoting the conservation of our pristine rivers and aquatic life. Events like these not only showcase the natural beauty of Arunachal Pradesh but also provide livelihood opportunities for local communities, fostering sustainable development in the region.

Grateful for the support from the Tourism Department and looking forward to further strengthening Arunachal Pradesh’s position as a leading destination for adventure and nature tourism.

Attended Coordination Meeting with BLC, Yuva Morcha, and Mandal Adhyaks to strategize key initiatives, including 'Maa Ke Liye Ek Phed', 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan', and various development activities for the 2024-25 fiscal year.

Our discussions centred on accelerating growth in our constituency and addressing the Dam Issue, with a focus on finding a balanced solution that benefits all and enhances the welfare of our state.

The dam issue which is viewed by the GoI from the prism of national security and power generation as its bye-product. This project, if it comes up will bring far-reaching benefits, which will change the face of the area.

No matter what challenges come our way, we will stand together and face them with courage and determination.

Today, I joined my brethren in building temporary shelters for those victims, distributed essential and relief donations to each of the affected people of the recent fire accident, and further donated some amount for the construction of the approach road to the proposed new settlement area.

Together, we stand united and will overcome any difficulties that come our way.

Availability of good transportation plays a crucial role in the socio-economic development of any region.

Inspected the Old State Transport Terminus and took stock of the condition of the department, Khonsa along with HMLA Smti Chakat Aboh Ji, SP Tirap, ZPC Tirap, DTO Tirap and Station Superintendent, Khonsa.

Assured that all concerns would be addressed and that prompt action would be taken.

We reviewed & discussed the current progress and strategized future plans for sustainable development. I truly appreciate all the officials for their kind participation and look forward to our collective efforts towards regional progress.

Inaugurated the newly constructed "District Panchayat Resource Centre (DPRC)" & "Block Public Health Unit at CHC", Deomali in Khonsa, Tirap District today joined in by HMLAs Smti Chakat Aboh ji & Shri Wanglam Sawin ji, Secretary PR, RD & Cooperation, Director Panchayati Raj, DPDO, DC, ZPC & other officials.

These new facilities will highly smoothen the functioning of Panchayati Raj to swiftly address the development of rural areas and the immediate address of healthcare needs.

Today, I had the pleasure of attending the State Level Orientation program on the PRI-CBO Convergence Project for all 25 blocks and 14 districts, expertly organized by ArSRLM at the State Banquet Hall, Itanagar. I emphasized the importance of the convergence of PRIs, Line Departments, and CBOs for the benefit of all.
