Victor Wembanyama:
“We don't have experience right? Screw it. We're still gonna play 100% and try to win this championship. Screw it.”

Actor Jeff Daniels on Donald Trump’s 2nd term: “We’ve lost decency. We’ve lost civility. We’ve lost respect for the rule of law. We’ve normalized verbal abuse. We’ve normalized bullying. Out the window goes character, integrity. We’re supposed to elect the best of us, not the worst of us. He’s everything that’s wrong with not just America but being a human being.”
The amount of teams/coaches still making college athletes wake up at 6 am (or earlier) to train, lift, & practice is 🤯🤯🤯.
The data are incredibly clear here.
Bad idea.
@bansky It’s kinda crazy how the efficiency thing has become a talking point when I take majority of my shots contested and analytically, from the most inefficient parts of the floor…maybe that’s a reason why I choose to be selective.
If I hit game-like levels of intensity and tissue load in preparation for a season, I'll likely be ready even if the volumes are below game levels. If I achieve the volumes without hitting the intensity and tissue load, nothing good happens.
You can train in a sports specific manner while doing things that don't look like the sport - if impact levels, velocities, power outputs, tissue loads, are competition-like, it's sports specific. If sportlike training movements don't achieve this, you're not prepared.
