We’ve lost 300+ followers now (and counting) which is so sad because Twitter as it was helped make our little indie bookshop and also saved it on many occasions. The truth is that about 80% of our sales came through this platform, but with #BookTwitter diminishing as people (understandably) leave we’ve noticed a significant drop in sales. We’re on Threads, Blue Sky and Insta which are much nicer, but they don’t appear to be very good for generating sales. So, a plea… if you know of anyone staying here that would appreciate a mostly online, indie, woman-owned, family-run bookshop that specialises in #signed books, regularly donates to charity, brings you exciting author events in and around Yorkshire, and always has a #SALE section, then please can you recommend us to them? And we have cats! See Maui and Baobao below 🧡🦊
@paulmilham If it was his first time, you could possibly accept there’s some mitigation, but he’s a serial offender and needed to send a proper message.
