@JoshBoersen Agri stability is a complete garbage program that should be scraped. Strengthen crop and pasture insurance programs and end the 30 plus years of trying to rename and reinvent a failed endeavor.
@YukonStrong Unfortunately we only see what this clown has chosen to post. He wants the police to arrive, and through that somehow he baited the public into calling the police. The officer did nothing wrong by responding to a call from the public that he was dispatched to.
@FakePOTUS_DT@RobAllan4 You realize Trump won't be President by the time it would be completed? Plus we have numerous allies including Japan and South Korea that can use Canadian oil/gas.
@LeslynLewis With all of the roadblocks put in place by a large portion of Canada on the development of conventional energy infrastructure within Alberta, I am not so sure you "deserve" anything.
@Archy1958@Reil76 You are 100% correct, it is actually comical that large urbans suddenly have concerns for the environment while simultaneously paving over rich farmland and wetlands for parking lots and shopping malls. I would gladly pass a motion in favour of the right facility tomorrow.
One thing is certain I would rather have 13 inches of rain and flood out at this stage than dry out again. At least the subsoil moisture could recharge. An inch of rain since April with virtually no subsoil is not a good recipe for growing a crop.
@Archy1958 Stuff up west, don't think it has grown in a week. In the ground over a month, around 1/2 inch of rain since. Needs a good drink, quite a bit of patchy canola that way too.
@echipiuk@AndrewKnack Did their respective councils debate and pass joint motions making this an official municipal position? It would be a surprise if they did not have their blessing first.
@sizov_andre Canola and yellow peas 🫛 will likely steal wheat acres. Not a fan of harvesting pulses but I already have seed should I choose to rotate out of wheat. Barley is a possibility, trying a different variety this year so I will see how it performs.
@CoryBMorgan Staying neutral would have been the best choice, if their demand is strictly in regards to content it likely won't get past "reasonable limits" Best of luck Cory
