@BronxBomberBall The problem is the Yankees have a lot of average to below average hitters. They look better with a Judge, or Grisham or Stanton because these guys are dangerous and lengthen the lineup. Without them, all a pitcher has to realistically do is get by Rice and Belli, and he's golden.
Remember when the Yankees had us believing they were actually going to have a short leash on Volpe? Remember when we all thought Cabby might have stolen the job? That these guys finally woke up? Good times i tell ya.
@Christian_NYYST My main concern with that is Cabby has expressed that its much easier focusing on one position, which could be attributing to his stellar play thus far. Putting him back in that super utility role may cause a regression.
@HauntedCarnie@MLBTheShow I don't think I even made it a month before I gave up on the grind. It's just not fun which is a shame because I love baseball. Franchise is cool, but online is the worst it's ever been.
@mikeymumbles246 I usually free flow with my commentary and let whatever happens happen. Though I usually try to play a loud noise when I fart so the mic doesn't pick it up #wrestlingteam
@MLBTheShow There's really no excuse for how poor this game has been on release. You guys have been making the same formatted game for over 20 years. It should not be this buggy on day one at this point.
Friendly reminder to all Yankees fans, don't gas yourself up into believing Cashman will go get Bo Bichette. They still believe that when Volpe comes back he's the shortstop of the future. His injury was their justification for his regression
@aDrive_tK I love the fact that they went simplistic with the map on this game. There's a ton of things to do in this game, and a lot of new mechanics. Had they gone too much bigger the game would be buggy and unplayable. This game is solid, and if you're not miserable, a lot of fun to play
@JimmyRandazzo Even though he isn't directly responsible for the players not performing, he sets the culture. Being everyone's friend is adorable until its time for accountability, which this team very clearly lacks.
So we're clear, neither Volpe or Wells should be guaranteed a starting job next year. They're both holes in the lineup. Wells at least plays good defense, but that bat is brutal.
People getting mad that teams dunk on the Yankees after eliminating them. Know why? Its because the fans act like our shit don't stink because we won in the past. We haven't won this, or last decade, but we still act like this team is prestigious.
Same story year in and year out. Bad baseball = no World Series title. Its a simple equation that only the Yankees can't seem to figure out. Why did the Jays win? They played complete, good baseball.
