Been in $AMD for a while. Not gonna pretend I never get nervous. Almost sold a while back. Valuation looked nuts, the stock was all over the place, and I started talking myself out of it.
Then I read something from a guy I follow. Not naming him, he keeps a low profile. Wasn’t hype. Just walked through the data center stuff and why AMD doesn’t have to beat Nvidia for this to work. That settled me. Stopped refreshing the quote every ten minutes.
Still appreciate that. Not adding here. Just glad I didn’t sell when I got spooked.
Friday’s print is the add. Not the gap.
Power and grid were bid before the open. $POWL was one of them. Optics caught a bid with them. $MRVL was the clean one.
People are already treating that gap as the book.
It isn’t.
I’ve seen this movie. 10-year at 5.34%, highest since 2002, and stocks still opened green.
They gave it back before lunch. Dow near 50,750. Micron quadrupled revenue, up 270% this year, stock barely moved. The print’s fine. The price of money isn’t.
