@MikeKing14_@ethannzr I think it will almost certainly be Sunday as Chelsea are on Monday Night Football on the opening weekend so doubt they would make them do two in a row.
Games after Conference League matchdays (assuming we get through the playoff):
Palace (h)
Liverpool (a)
Brentford (h)
Newcastle (h)
Everton (h)
Ipswich (h)
5 home games is incredibly kind.

Said it for a while now, but the England media team and the content they put out is second to none. It is absolutely elite.
Even the in stadium stuff they do at Wembley is superb. Whoever is in charge of it, take a bow.
I know I’m falling into the trap by engaging, but honestly something has to be done about journalists leaking the team, set pieces, fitness etc.
Nobody wants it. Stop doing it. You’re actively hurting England’s chances of doing well for the sake of some clicks.
Sake.
England take leaf out of Arsenal playbook with focus on set-pieces in training ahead of Croatia. Declan Rice, Reece James and Bukayo Saka among designated dead ball specialists, though doubt remains over Saka’s fitness due to Achilles tendonitis issue. https://t.co/DFOCtoy9N9
If we had just gone 1 down at a home World Cup and they were pumping “I wanna dance with somebody” out at full volume during a hydration break my head would be fully gone.
@Gary_Poynton Yes there is always SOME degree of luck when it comes to draws and you will hit good teams eventually, but Southgate navigated tournaments very well. Capello got “lucky” drawing USA, Slovenia and Algeria and still finished 2nd and immediately hit Germany and went out.
Getting into school early in the morning to gather in the assembly hall, watching David Seaman get lobbed by Ronaldinho as England were knocked out by Brazil.
Core memory for many English people of my generation…
26 mid ass players that all despise each other and a RO16 exit pending. THIS is the England I grew up with. This is the England I'm comfortable with. I will never forgive Southgate for trying to make them nice boys that win things with the power of friendship. Knocked me sick
@Ankaman616 These are brilliant. They show a discussion prior to Germany 4-1 England game where the entire panel are in agreement that man for man England have the better team. Hindsight is wonderful I know, but come on!
@BrettMendoza_ It works with England because every game is oversubscribed. So if you kept it to just points/caps it would literally be a closed shop. That’s not the case for Brighton, plenty of games go down to members sale. Just seems totally not needed and will rub people up the wrong way.
@jackalbion96 Exactly right. Barca and Real hoard all the money in La Liga, making it hugely uncompetitive and then wonder why no broadcaster wants to pay huge sums for the rights. The PL gets lots of things wrong, but they nailed splitting the oversees rights evenly between the 20 teams.
Performance today was terrible, but big picture, on February 11th we were 25/1 to get relegated, and now we’ve qualified for Europe.
Mad old season.
