ORE is a mining protocol. This is a wagering game.
Here’s the difference:
With @ORE, you’re competing to mine according to the protocol’s rules. Your rewards come from the network’s emissions and your participation in the mining process. You’re not betting on a random outcome.
With this game, you’re putting USDC on one or more tiles before each round. A random tile is selected, and only the players on that tile split the pot. If your tile isn’t chosen, you don’t win that round.
The terms Hashrate, miners, and vaults make it feel like mining, but they’re part of the theme and reward system. The core mechanic is still a chance based game where players’ deposits fund the round and winners are determined by a randomly selected tile.
So while both are on chain, both use crypto, and both have competitive elements, @ORE primary activity is mining, while this product’s primary activity is wagering on randomized outcomes.
That’s the fundamental distinction. Vastly different. This is like gambling but not saying it my boy.
It can be like anything it wants but what’s “sat” got to do with it other than mislead?
