A child born in 1994 is now 32. They've known only ANC rule, no jobs, no certainty. That generation doesn't hate apartheid they never saw it. They just hate the ANC.
"Shortly before midnight, I awoke to flashing lights in the living room. I got up to check and when I got to the living room, I ran into one of the attackers. He grabbed me and hit me in the face with a bat. I fell and screamed, while trying to fight them off. My children then awoke and came to check what was going on. The attackers grabbed them and hit them with a sjambok."
A single mother, Annemarie Carvalho, and her two young daughters (aged 9 and 12) were brutally attacked in what can only be described as a horrific act of violence.
The mother was beaten with a bat and a sjambok (whip). When her brave daughters tried to intervene and protect her, they were viciously assaulted too, one of the girls was slammed against a wall.
All three were hospitalized with serious injuries. The children are now deeply traumatized by the nightmare they endured while trying to save their mom.
A 26-year-old beloved young cricket coach, Berend Alkema, was fatally shot during a "home robbery" (code for targeted attack) in the early hours of Wednesday at his family home.
He worked at Laerskool Hennopspark’s cricket academy, coaching many boys and being very popular among the learners.
Armed "robbers" (code for racial attacks) broke in while the family was asleep. Berend’s mother, Ann Alkema (the school’s business manager), was also present. School principal Jannie Raath confirmed the incident, stating Berend succumbed to his injuries.
No further details on suspects or motives were provided in the article.

Charlie Kirk was answering a question about rampant left-wing violence in America when he was shot today.
You can hear the crack of a rifle in this video from approximately 100 yards.
I am burning with righteous anger.
Pray right now for Charlie and his family.

Maybe I have missed it, but why doesn't a white house journalist ask that smug millennial Press Secretary about the urgency wholesale cancellation of all USAID programs, including the AIDS vaccine trial in South Africa that is now on hold, or the one million insecticide-treated bed nets in a warehouse in Ethiopia that, along with antimalarial drugs and diagnostics can't be deployed. Or the thousands of workers abroad who now have a week to uproot their kids and find a new place to live without a job. Do they give a shit about actual people, or just the political optics? I'd love to see that question asked.
