A 13 year old was stabbed in Eastbourne yesterday 5 people have been arrested.

Three boys, two aged 16 and one 17, a woman, 22, and a man, 20, were arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm and are currently in custody.

The 13 year old was airlifted to hospital to receive medical treatment and he is due to be discharged.

The Met has issued two new charges to Tim Westwood, 68 of Westminster, as part of an ongoing investigation.

He has been charged with:

Indecent assault
Sexual assault
It is alleged that:

In 1991, he indecently assaulted a teenage girl aged 16 to 17 in Hammersmith and Fulham.

In May 2004, he sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman in Wandsworth.

These charges are in addition to those brought against Westwood in October 2025 relating to seven women:

Four counts of rape
Nine counts of indecent assault
Two counts of sexual assault
Westwood is now facing a total of 17 charges involving nine women.
