Learning ponzi/pyramid structure and language makes it easier to recognise them in whatever form they take. They all say the same thing just replacing some words with shiny new ones that only the few within the secret system would understand. It's both telling you what they are plus being so wrapped up in the dream and tactics to brainwash you to not notice such an ellaborate scam that it's going over your head. (think pickpocketing you look one way while they steal) Keep your eyes and ears more open. Ask questions about your money and you see the tinted glasses come off better

People are mistaken to claim that MLM is putting people first, it's actually putting it's hooks deeper into it's people and demanding their loyalty and belief.

Those unfamiliar with the incentive system are easily fooled by this aspect to want to retain folks
