Some ways to reduce your plastic use is to use plastic free products, use reusable shopping bags, avoid bottled water, and to avoid products with micro plastics. This could reduce the amount of plastic that goes into the ocean if we all choose to use less of it. #SavetheOcean
Some people are trying to clean up the existing ocean, but the best way to stop the pollution is to cut it off at its source. If there was no plastic put into the ocean, then we wouldn’t have to clean it up.
The amount of plastic being produced has skyrocketed in the last decade. If we use plastic alternatives, then we can limit the amount of plastic produced and how much goes into the ocean. #PlasticAlternatives
If all companies reduced the amount of plastic in their products, then there would be less going into the ocean. This is the first step in saving our oceans from plastic pollution. #SaveTheOcean
I'm proud to announce that we've reduced plastic in own label packaging by 29%, just two years into our five-year #TooCoolforPlastic commitment. We remain the only retailer to have committed to remove plastic from all own label products, and today marks a significant milestone
Plastics often cannot be destroyed or used again, so they end up in big piles like these. Use alternatives to plastic to stop the piling up of plastic!
"We are all guinea pigs in this experiment, as plastics accumulate in the food web, appearing in seafood, table salt, and ironically even in bottled water."

Another way to use less plastic is to use a metal water bottle instead of a plastic one. This can drastically change the amount of plastic going in the ocean if we used less plastic bottles. #plasticpollution
Just because you throw something in the recycling bin, doesn't guarantee that it will be recycled.
The system is broken.
Don't stop recycling... but do call for more recycling infrastructure and less fast use plastics!
