At AntiracismKY, we see this as a step in the right direction towards removing the vestiges of racism in the commonwealth, and we look forward to effecting more changes at the state and local level in the coming months.
We applaud removal of the Jefferson Davis Statue. In a society that cherishes symbols and messages, the message this statue sends is one of division. By removing this statute,we clear the People’s house of a relic symbolizing the belief that black Kentuckians have less value
