A very beneficial and interesting read if you got 5 minutes. I don't see anybody talking about these things that I'm about to mention below.

It is still mind blowing to me the ignorance in the crypto space. All these people want to do a "CTO" and have clue what that actually means or what it takes. It takes a lot more then just posting on X and praying for the chart to go up.
-It takes MONEY! People don't realize how much money it truly takes to keep a project moving forward. You can't be a brokie trying to do a cto. Your just completely wasting your time.
-Then time, you must dedicate a lot of time towards the project daily and grind. Posting, spaces, etc. This can be overwhelming for most people as they aren't used to be on demand.
-Pressure and thick skin. Remember if you are a cto lead, all eyes are on you and all the blame. People will constantly be asking for updates, what the plan is and everyone has an opinion... you should do this, you should do that. If the chart is not moving upwards then it's your fault and no one else's. And they could care less anything you've done all the way up to any point as soon as the chart goes down anything you've done good goes shopping window. I could take all 3 of these point way deeper down the rabbit hole. These are just some core things, there is still a lot more I could mention.

If you're thinking about doing a CTO you better keep these things in mind, have a super solid plan and again money! You're going to have to spend your own funds unless you create some nfts or something else that can be bought by the community to bring in funds to the project.
This is why 99.99% of CTO's fail just like when a Dev launches a new project. The concepts are exactly the same it's just a different person running the show.

I have been through all of this many times. Not directly as a CTO lead but I have been fortunate and had an opportunity over the last 2 years to work with about 12 devs and numerous ctos. To see what works and doesn't work.
