@Crypto_McKenna I feel like it’s easier to underwrite from a flows perspective. Are more people going to stake and lock VVV in the future and will future buybacks offset emissions and unlocks? I would say from personally using the product it is one of the easiest ways to access open source LLMs
$VVV is a claim to a growing percentage of Venice’s future compute.
The buybacks do correlate it to business growth, but the market might test what the actual value equation looks like if you strip out equity.
Future compute+ Buybacks+ Equity= theorized (priced-in) value?
@jdorman81 Couldn’t you easily argue that apps are commoditized especially as AI scales and dev barriers decrease, and it’s the underlying L1 network that is actually antifragile/lindy?
Excluding hype, where has the market showed its hand in favoring apps over infra?
@Cheshire_Cap Doesn’t it make sense for the two most accepted and fairly distributed private SOVs to make up more than 1% of BTC mcap?
Also, doesn’t it seem unlikely that a multi-year consolidation like XMR has had would top after less than a week?
Curious what you think
not a fan of this new 'defensive' single-sided LP buys of $ore. it breaks the whole psychology effect.
solid liquidity for a SoV is a must for scaling. but when u r in adoption phase, u need to be 'offensive'. Killing volume isnt gonna do it.
the market shows.
just my 2c
Investors funneled to offshore exchange(FTX) because of Biden administration anti-crypto policy.
DATs form so investors can more easily access digital assets because of laborious, slow ETF listing process.
SPACs launched as a result of failing IPO markets.
Makes you think.
Only a small number of coins are attractive investments and they garner the majority of attention and flows. OTHERS has been down only since '22. Majority of altcoins are the equivalents of shitcos. This is why it feels like we've already been in a bear for awhile.
I worry that the trenching synonymous with solana and https://t.co/OpMG6pZfVX has done serious damage to trader’s patience and ability to hold. Otherwise this maybe is just Coinbase cabal. More suspicious of that tho
Why are base tokens so much more pumpable than solana tokens? AVNT, KTA, MAMO, REI, EDGE. The list goes on. Meanwhile solana defi tokens just languish and underperform despite decent fundamentals. Does it just come down to trader expectations and behavior?
