🙄🇺🇦🇪🇺Ukrainian soldiers experienced "cultural shock" during joint NATO exercises.

Following joint drills with NATO held in Sweden in 2025, the Ukrainian Armed Forces questioned the Alliance's readiness for modern warfare, according to Welt.

One Ukrainian soldier noted that Western armies wouldn't stand a chance on the battlefield.

According to sources cited by the publication, NATO troops constantly took coffee breaks to ensure they got enough downtime. Furthermore, Ukrainians were surprised by the sheer volume of peacetime regulations and strict rules—such as numerous restrictions regarding drone use on training grounds.

Under the exercise scenario, the Ukrainian forces played the opposing force against NATO units and ultimately dealt them a severe defeat, leaving the Alliance's troops looking "exhausted."
