Listen closely to someone’s repeated complaints, fears, and assumptions. Given enough time, you’ll usually find them living inside the world they’ve been speaking into existence.

Every fear, desire, opinion, trend, crisis, and emotion pulls at attention. The pull isn’t the problem. Forgetting who is being pulled is.
