Plato was right about democracy
And the West doesn't want to learn the lesson
In The Republic, Plato laid out his political theory. He argued that the best form of government wasn't democracy at all... it was aristocracy
Not aristocracy in the sense of inherited titles and lazy nobles living off their ancestors
But rule by the most capable. The philosopher-kings. People who actually knew what they were doing and cared about the outcome
Plato saw democracy as inherently unstable. It eventually devolves into demagoguery, then tyranny. The masses vote for whoever promises them the most, not whoever is best equipped to lead
Sounds familiar? That's exactly what we're seeing right now
Now look at El Salvador 🇸🇻
Bukele took over a country that was literally the murder capital of the world. Gang violence everywhere. People couldn't walk down the street without fear
Democratic institutions had failed for decades. Corruption, incompetence, the same political families rotating power... basically what Plato predicted
What did Bukele do?
He ignored the "proper channels" and got shit done
- Arrested gang members en masse
- Built the largest prison in the Americas
- Didn't ask permission from international bodies or worry about what the UN thought
And the results speak for themselves
El Salvador went from one of the most dangerous countries on Earth to safer than most US cities. Tourism is booming. Investment is flowing in. People can actually live their lives
The population loves him. His approval ratings are through the roof
That's what happens when you have competent leadership that prioritizes results over process
Meanwhile in the West...
We get career politicians who've never built anything in their lives, making decisions based on focus groups and donor interests
Nothing gets done. Infrastructure crumbles. Crime rises. But hey, at least we followed the proper democratic procedures
Plato called this exact outcome 2,400 years ago
I'm not saying democracy has no value. But maybe the obsession with it as the only legitimate form of government makes zero sense
Sometimes you need a leader who can actually execute. Who puts the population's wellbeing above political theater
The West could learn something from El Salvador
But they won't. Because admitting that would mean questioning our entire narrative
In 2019, Edward Snowden warned us that the infrastructure for a Chinese-style social credit system was being built in plain sight.
"If any of your activities online, if your purchases, if your associations... are in any way different from what the government... would like them to be, you're no longer able to purchase train tickets. You're no longer able to board an airplane.... You may not be eligible for a job."
"All of these things are increasingly being created and programmed and decided by algorithms. And those algorithms are fuelled by precisely the innocent data that our devices are creating all of the time—constantly, invisibly, quietly—right now."
"And these activity records are being created and shared and collected... constantly by companies and governments. And ultimately, it means as they sell these... what they are selling is not information. What they are selling is us."
"They're selling our future. They're selling our past. They are selling our history, our identity. And ultimately, they are stealing our power."
🎤 I Am Not Woke
I am a woman.
I am Gen X.
Which means I was raised on hot hose water, unsupervised bike riding, and the understanding that if you’re bleeding but still conscious, you’re probably fine.
I am not emotionally injured by words.
I have survived mall bangs, dial-up internet, and New Coke.
You are not going to take me out with a tweet.
I believe in equality.
Not the Oppression Olympics, where everyone shows up with a clipboard and a backstory.
I am a strong woman.
I pay my bills.
I change my tire.
I handle my life.
But yes, I still want a man who opens jars, kills spiders, checks the noise in the basement, and says,
“Relax. I’ve got this,”
while holding a flashlight he definitely does not know how to use properly.
That is not patriarchy.
That is foreplay.
That is chemistry.
Somewhere in the last decade, feminism stopped being about opportunity and turned into a poorly dubbed workplace orientation video that never ends.
Now everything is “toxic.”
Except the people screaming it on social media at 10 a.m. on a Tuesday with 14 pronouns and a coffee addiction.
We turned “live and let live” into
“live exactly like me or prepare for a 37-tweet thread.”
Disagreement is now violence.
Silence is now violence.
Looking at someone wrong is probably violence.
Everyone has a label, a trigger, a diagnosis, and a podcast.
No one has a sense of humor.
Personal grace is rarer than Sasquatch.
We replaced confidence with outrage.
Facts with feelings.
And actual problems with performance art.
I do not need a seminar to exist.
I do not need a warning label on jokes.
I do not need a committee to approve my opinions.
I am a woman.
I am independent.
I am emotionally stable.
I like men who act like men.
I like women who do not hate them for it.
And I would like to enjoy my coffee without being educated.
My wish for 2026 is simple:
May woke finally go to sleep.
Put on its little eye mask.
Take a melatonin.
Log off the internet.
And let the rest of us get back to living.
I am not woke.
I am awake.
And I would like my culture back,
preferably without a training session.
Happy New Year friends!
May this be the year we shed the cloak of woke for good and start living our lives as intended... Free.
Western Civilization is officially dead. The New York Public Library is telling me in advance what to think about an image in its collection, warning me ungrammatically that I may see materials reflecting ‘biased’ or ‘offensive’ views ‘due to pervasive systemic intolerance.’
Cultures are neither equal nor indistinguishable. Cultural relativism (a parasitic idea) coupled with suicidal empathy eradicates this obvious reality. It is a form of lobotomy that immobilizes people from stating that they do not wish to host people who hail from cultures that are antithetical to their foundational values. This simple reality is destroying the West.

@MyLordBebo Normal relations with its neighbors means invading them repeatedly. Georgia, Chechnya, Moldova, Ukraine. The latter in direct contravention to the Budapest Accords.
@Victorshi2020 Yes, ignore the electoral college results, ignore the popular vote, and become subversive. That's how its done? its called treason. Bravo!
