A Prayer for Salvation According to the Gospel of Grace

Heavenly Father,

I come before Your throne of grace in the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Hebrews 4:16, thanking You for Your mercy and Your longsuffering toward us in this age of grace.

Father, I thank You for the glorious gospel You revealed to the Apostle Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles, Romans 11:13. For it pleased You to make known the mystery of the gospel, Ephesians 6:19, which is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth, Romans 1:16.

And now, Lord, I lift up every soul who will read this prayer.

Holy Father, open their eyes that they may see the only way to be saved today. Let them hear and understand the gospel as Paul declared it:

"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" - 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV

Lord Jesus, I pray they will believe with all their heart that You died for OUR sins, that You shed Your blood as the propitiation for us, Romans 3:25, that You were made to be sin for us who knew no sin, 2 Corinthians 5:21, and that You finished the work, John 19:30.

Father, let them believe that You were buried, carrying our sins away forever, and that God raised You again the third day according to the scriptures, Romans 4:25, for our justification. That if they shall confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in their heart that God hath raised him from the dead, they shall be saved, Romans 10:9.

Teach them, Father, that in this church age we are not saved by works, by the law, or by anything we can do, Romans 3:20, but by grace through faith, and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast, Ephesians 2:8-9. That now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation, 2 Corinthians 6:2.

Lord, I pray for every reader that they would trust right now in the blood of Christ alone, Ephesians 1:7, and be sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13, sealed unto the day of redemption, Ephesians 4:30.

And Holy Spirit, I ask You, the Comforter, John 14:26, to guide every lost soul who needs this truth to this post. Lead them here by Your hand. Remove the god of this world who hath blinded their minds, 2 Corinthians 4:4, and shine the light of the glorious gospel into their hearts.

And Father, for every believer who reads this, fill them with boldness. As Paul prayed that utterance may be given unto him, that he may open his mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, Ephesians 6:19, give us that same boldness to speak. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind, 2 Timothy 1:7. Help us to not be ashamed of the gospel of Christ, Romans 1:16, but to preach the word, be instant in season and out of season, 2 Timothy 4:2.

Thank You, Father, for saving me by that one gospel. Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ, for dying, being buried, and rising again for me.

In Your precious and holy name, the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray,

Amen.

Heavenly Father, in the mighty and matchless name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I come boldly before Thy throne of grace,

A Prayer of Consecration for Oil and Ashes

O Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:9-10 KJV)

Father, I lift up this oil and these ashes before You now. As it is written, Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. (Psalm 23:5 KJV)

Lord Jesus, Thou art the Anointed One, for God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (Acts 10:38 KJV) I ask You now to bless and sanctify this oil.

Father, according to Thy Word: Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up. (James 5:14-15 KJV)

Let this oil be set apart, for it is written, And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them. (Mark 6:13 KJV) Let Thy Holy Spirit rest upon this oil, that wherever it is applied, it shall be as a point of contact for Thy healing, deliverance, and power.

Father, I also lift up these ashes. We remember Thy Word, that Thou hast said we are dust, and unto dust shalt thou return. (Genesis 3:19 KJV) Yet Thou hast given us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. (Isaiah 61:3 KJV)

Let these ashes be blessed as a sign of true repentance, for we have humbled ourselves as it is written, I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes. (Job 42:6 KJV) Let them remind every soul that thou desirest truth in the inward parts (Psalm 51:6 KJV) and that a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. (Psalm 51:17 KJV)

Now, O Lord God Almighty, I pray over both the oil and the ashes together:

Anoint them with Thy power from on high. Sanctify them, for whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world. (1 John 5:4 KJV)

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I decree that anyone who comes in contact with this oil and these ashes, whether by touch, by faith, or by being anointed, shall see Thy salvation.

For it is written, For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:10 KJV)

Let their eyes be opened, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins. (Acts 26:18 KJV)

Lord, let them look upon Him whom they have pierced and mourn, and be saved, for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13 KJV)

Let this be the hour, O God, that Thou wilt show them Thy salvation, for Thou hast said, He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. (Mark 16:16 KJV) And, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (Acts 16:31 KJV)

Father, let no weapon that is formed against them prosper. (Isaiah 54:17 KJV) Let every chain be broken, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV)

Let them know that, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 KJV)

This I pray, not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. (Zechariah 4:6 KJV)

In the precious, powerful, and holy name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 KJV),

Amen and Amen.

Father, we confess that we have all sinned, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" - Romans 3:23 KJV And without shedding of blood there is no remission, "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission." - Hebrews 9:22 KJV

We plead the Blood of Jesus over our lives, our families, and all people everywhere. Wash us, O Lord, for "Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood," - Revelation 1:5 KJV

Lord, let Thy Blood cleanse us from all sin, for it is written, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." - 1 John 1:7 KJV

We repent this hour and turn from our wicked ways. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out" - Acts 3:19 KJV We humble ourselves before Thee, believing Thy promise: "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin" - 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

Father, we claim redemption through His Blood. "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" - Colossians 1:14 KJV And "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;" - Ephesians 1:7 KJV

For we were not redeemed with corruptible things, "But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:" - 1 Peter 1:19 KJV

Justify us now by His Blood, O God. "Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." - Romans 5:9 KJV

Purge our conscience from dead works to serve the living God. "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?" - Hebrews 9:14 KJV

We overcome every accusation of the enemy by the Blood of the Lamb, for "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;" - Revelation 12:11 KJV

The hour of Thy judgment is come, Lord. "Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come:" - Revelation 14:7 KJV Now Thou commandest all men everywhere to repent, "but now commandeth all men every where to repent:" - Acts 17:30 KJV

Cover us with the Blood, seal us by the Blood, until that blessed hope. "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;" - Titus 2:13 KJV

We confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that we are saved by the Blood. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." - Romans 10:9 KJV

A Prayer of Diligence and Hope

Heavenly Father, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

I come before Thy throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 And I thank Thee that I can come boldly unto the throne of grace, that I may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

Father, I thank Thee for Thy Word which declares:

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Hebrews 6:10 (KJV)

Lord, Thou seest my work and my labour of love. Thou knowest that except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it. Psalm 127:1 I pray that whatsoever I do, I do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. Colossians 3:23 Let my ministry, however small, be acceptable unto Thee. For we are labourers together with God. 1 Corinthians 3:9

And Father, as Thy Word continues:

And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: Hebrews 6:11 (KJV)

Lord Jesus, Thou art my hope. Thou art the way, the truth, and the life. John 14:6 Grant me diligence to continue in well doing. Help me to watch and pray, lest I enter into temptation. Matthew 26:41 Keep me steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58 Let me not be weary in well doing: for in due season I shall reap, if I faint not. Galatians 6:9 Lord, I desire that full assurance of hope unto the end, knowing that hope maketh not ashamed. Romans 5:5

And Father:

That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Hebrews 6:12 (KJV)

Forgive me for any slothfulness of heart. Quicken me according to Thy Word. Psalm 119:25 Help me to be a follower of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Help me to walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 For I know that faith without works is dead. James 2:26 Teach me to wait upon Thee, Lord, for they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles. Isaiah 40:31

Father, let patience have her perfect work in me, that I may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:4 I stand on Thy promises, for Thou art not a man, that thou shouldest lie. Numbers 23:19

Thank You, Father, that my labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58 Keep me faithful unto death, that I may receive a crown of life. Revelation 2:10

I ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Romans 11:36

Amen.

A Prayer for Purity and Strength

Heavenly Father, in the name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, I come boldly unto Thy throne of grace, that I may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

Father, Thou knowest my heart and my struggle. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10 Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Psalm 51:7

Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned against Thee in my thoughts and desires, for Thou hast said that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:28 Forgive me, Lord, for Thou art faithful and just to forgive my sins, and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

Father, Thy Word says to Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 And that my body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in me, which I have of God, and I am not my own, for I am bought with a price: therefore glorify God in my body, and in my spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Since I am not married, help me to possess my vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence. 1 Thessalonians 4:4-5 Help me to keep my heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23

When desire rises up within me, Lord, teach me to bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5 Let me set my affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2

In that moment of temptation, Holy Father, cause me to think on Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith. Hebrews 12:2 Help me to think on whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely. Philippians 4:8

Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil. Matthew 6:13 For Thou hast promised that there hath no temptation taken me but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer me to be tempted above that I am able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that I may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 Show me that way of escape, Lord, and give me strength to take it.

Lord, I ask for a pure heart, for blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8 Strengthen me with might by Thy Spirit in the inner man. Ephesians 3:16 That I may be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Ephesians 6:16

Let me walk in the Spirit, and I shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 For Thou hast not given me the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

I present my body now as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is my reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of my mind. Romans 12:1-2

Thank You, Father, for hearing my prayer. I will hide Thy word in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee. Psalm 119:11

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour, Amen.

A Prayer of Surrender and Purpose

Heavenly Father, and my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,

I come before Thy throne of grace in the name of Jesus, with a humble and contrite heart. For a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. - Psalm 51:17

Father, I thank You for breaking me, for stripping away what was not of You, that I might be made new. Thank You for loving me enough not to leave me as I was. As the clay in the potter's hand, I was marred, And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. - Jeremiah 18:4

Lord, But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. - Isaiah 64:8 Rebuild me for Thy purpose. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. - Psalm 51:10

Father, I present myself to You this day. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. - Romans 12:1 I am Yours. Use me, for Thy will and not my own.

Like Isaiah, I answer Thy call: Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. - Isaiah 6:8 Send me, Lord. Let my life, my testimony, my brokenness and my rebuilding bring glory to Your name.

Thank You, Father, for making me a new creature in Christ. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. - 2 Corinthians 5:17 Thank You that For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. - Ephesians 2:10

I trust in Your perfect plan for my life. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. - Jeremiah 29:11 Even in the breaking, You were working all things together. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. - Romans 8:28

Father, I lean not to my own understanding. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. - Proverbs 3:5-6

Continue the work You have started in me. Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: - Philippians 1:6

Cleanse me, Lord, that I may be a vessel fit for the Master's use. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. - 2 Timothy 2:21

Not my will, but Thine be done. In the mighty and matchless name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,

Amen.

[ANTOINE LYLES @AntoineL65833]

Heavenly Father, and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

Father, in the name of Jesus, I come boldly unto Thy throne of grace today, not in shame, but in humility and honesty before Thee.

Lord, Thou didst institute a Day of Atonement for Thy people to draw nigh unto Thee. Thou saidst we should afflict our souls — not to condemn us, but to show us our need for Thy mercy. For it is written, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise." - Psalm 51:17 (KJV)

Father, I confess my sins before Thee, for Thou art faithful and just. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9 (KJV) I hide nothing from Thee, for Thou searchest the heart. "Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts" - Psalm 139:23 (KJV)

Thank You, Father, that atonement was never about my shame, but about Your grace. On that day, You made a way for Your people to be covered. And You made a greater way through Your Son. Jesus, You are my High Priest and my offering.

Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ, that Thou art "the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." - John 1:29 (KJV) Thank You that Thou didst enter once into the holy place, "neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by thine own blood... having obtained eternal redemption for us." - Hebrews 9:12 (KJV)

Father, where the blood of bulls and goats could only cover, the blood of Jesus cleanses completely. "For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified." - Hebrews 10:14 (KJV) Therefore I do not come to Thee beating my chest in hopelessness, but with complete dependence upon Thy mercy. "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us" - Titus 3:5 (KJV)

Lord, I receive Thy grace anew this day. Let Thy mercy triumph over judgment in my life. "For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment." - James 2:13 (KJV)

Create in me a clean heart, O God. "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me." - Psalm 51:10 (KJV) Teach me to walk in the light of atonement — to live honest before You, dependent upon You, and clothed not in my own righteousness, but in Yours. "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags" - Isaiah 64:6 (KJV) Yet in Christ, I am made "the righteousness of God in him." - 2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV)

Father, today I lay down every sin, every burden, every secret at the foot of the cross. I thank You that because of Jesus, there is now no veil, no separation. "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus" - Hebrews 10:19 (KJV)

Let this day be my day of atonement — a day I approach You with complete honesty, and leave covered completely by Your grace.

In the mighty and matchless name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I pray,

Amen.

Heavenly Father, and my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,

I come before Thy throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for Thou hast said, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." - Hebrews 4:16 KJV

Father, my heart is heavy and my feelings ache within me. The outcomes have gone against me, and my spirit feels overwhelmed. But I remember Thy Word says, "When my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I." - Psalm 61:2 KJV

Lord, Thou knowest my frame. Thou knowest that I am sore pressed. I confess, like David, "I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long." - Psalm 38:6 KJV Yet I know Thou art nigh unto me, for "The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit." - Psalm 34:18 KJV

Father, in this disappointment, help me to not lean unto mine own understanding, but "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." - Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV

Lord Jesus, Thou hast said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." - Matthew 11:28 KJV I come to You now. Take this burden, this ache, this outcome that I do not understand. Give rest unto my soul.

Help me to remember that even when things go against me, Thou art working for my good, for "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28 KJV

Teach me to pray in my anxiety, Father. I lay every outcome before You, for "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7 KJV

When I feel weak and defeated, remind me of Thy strength, for Thou hast said, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." - 2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV And Lord, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." - Isaiah 41:10 KJV

Father, I will lift up mine eyes unto Thee, for "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth." - Psalm 121:1-2 KJV

Though this outcome hurts now, I know this trial is but for a moment. "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;" - 2 Corinthians 4:17 KJV

So I will choose to trust Thee, to weep and yet rejoice, for "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." - Psalm 30:5 KJV

In the mighty and matchless name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.

I claim Your Word: And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. - Ephesians 6:15 KJV And How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace - Isaiah 52:7 KJV

4. The Shield of Faith
Lord Jesus, I lift up the shield of faith. Increase my faith, Lord. Help Thou my unbelief. Let this shield extinguish every fiery dart the enemy throws at my mind, my family, and my future. For Your Word declares: Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. - Ephesians 6:16 KJV I hold fast to Your promise that without faith it is impossible to please him - Hebrews 11:6 KJV

5. The Helmet of Salvation
Lord, place upon my head the helmet of salvation. Cover my mind, my thoughts, and my imagination with the assurance of my salvation through Your blood shed on Calvary. As it is written: And take the helmet of salvation - Ephesians 6:17 KJV For neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. - Acts 4:12 KJV

6. The Sword of the Spirit
Father, place in my hand and in my mouth the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. For it is written: and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God - Ephesians 6:17 KJV Let Your Word be quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword - Hebrews 4:12 KJV

Lord, I will continue to stand and pray, for Your Word commands: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance - Ephesians 6:18 KJV

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for hearing my prayer. I am covered, protected, and victorious through You.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, Amen.

A prayer of thanksgiving for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb:

Heavenly Father, Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit,

O Father, I come before Thy throne of grace in the name of Thy dear Son, with a humble and thankful heart.

Father, I thank Thee for Thou hast made us accepted in the beloved - Ephesians 1:6 KJV. Thank You for Thy great love, for while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, and for drawing me with Thy lovingkindness.

Lord Jesus, my Lord and Saviour, I praise Thee, for Thou art the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world - Revelation 13:8 KJV. Thou hast loved me and washed us from our sins in thine own blood - Revelation 1:5 KJV. Thou hast redeemed me, not with corruptible things, but with Thy precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot - 1 Peter 1:19 KJV.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, my Bridegroom, for Thou hast betrothed me unto Thyself in righteousness and in mercy. I rejoice, for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready - Revelation 19:7 KJV.

O Holy Spirit, blessed Comforter, thank Thee for sealing me unto the day of redemption - Ephesians 4:30 KJV, and for ever making intercession for me, for Thou art the earnest of mine inheritance.

Father, I am not worthy, for I was without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise - Ephesians 2:12 KJV, yet now in Christ Jesus I am made nigh. With awe and wonder I have heard the voice from heaven say, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb - Revelation 19:9 KJV.

What manner of love is this, that Thou wouldst call such a one as I to sit at Thy table? That I, who once hungered and thirsted, should be invited to that supper where Thou Thyself shalt sup with him, and he with thee - Revelation 3:20 KJV.

Lord, I pray Thou wouldst keep my garment white, for Thou hast said Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city - Revelation 22:14 KJV. Let me be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints - Revelation 19:8 KJV, not mine own, but Thine.

Grant me grace to watch, for Thou hast said Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments - Revelation 16:15 KJV. Let me not be found without the wedding garment, but ready, looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ - Titus 2:13 KJV.

Until that day, I will abide in Thee, for Thou hast prepared a place for me, that where I am, there ye may be also - John 14:3 KJV. And I shall hunger no more, for Thou shalt wipe away all tears from their eyes - Revelation 7:17 KJV, as we feast in Thy presence.

Thank You, Father. Thank You, Lord Jesus, my Bridegroom. Thank You, Holy Spirit.

All glory, honour, and thanksgiving be unto Thee, who art worthy to receive it, world without end.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour, Amen.

A Prayer of Sackcloth and Ashes
Heavenly Father, and my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,

I come before Thy throne of grace in sackcloth and ashes, in deep humility and brokenness. I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ [Ephesians 3:14 - KJV], for I am not worthy to lift up mine eyes unto heaven.

O Lord, I confess my sins before Thee.

For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight [Psalm 51:3-4 - KJV]. My iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me [Psalm 38:4 - KJV].

As it is written, I did set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes [Daniel 9:3 - KJV]. Like Mordecai, I rend my heart and humble myself before Thee [Esther 4:1 - KJV], for Thou desirest truth in the inward parts [Psalm 51:6 - KJV].

Lord, create in me a clean heart.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise [Psalm 51:17 - KJV]. O God, create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me [Psalm 51:10 - KJV]. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin [Psalm 51:2 - KJV].

I have sinned and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not [Job 33:27 - KJV]. If we confess our sins, thou art faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness [1 John 1:9 - KJV].

Father, I repent in dust and ashes.

I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes [Job 42:6 - KJV]. Rend my heart, and not my garments, and turn unto the LORD my God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness [Joel 2:13 - KJV].

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of [2 Corinthians 7:10 - KJV]. I beseech Thee therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that I present my body a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is my reasonable service [Romans 12:1 - KJV].

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy upon me.

Thou hast said, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest [Matthew 11:28 - KJV]. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions [Psalm 51:1 - KJV].

For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee [Psalm 86:5 - KJV]. Though my sins be as scarlet, thou hast promised they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool [Isaiah 1:18 - KJV].

Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow [Psalm 51:7 - KJV].

Restore me, O Father.

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit [Psalm 51:12 - KJV]. Humble me therefore under thy mighty hand, that thou mayest exalt me in due time [1 Peter 5:6 - KJV].

For thou hast said, if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then wilt thou hear from heaven, and wilt forgive their sin, and wilt heal their land [2 Chronicles 7:14 - KJV].

I thank Thee, Father, that through Jesus Christ my Lord, who is the propitiation for our sins [1 John 2:2 - KJV], I have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of thy grace [Ephesians 1:7 - KJV].

Let this sackcloth be exchanged for joy, and these ashes for beauty, that I may put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness [Isaiah 61:3 - KJV].

In the mighty, matchless, and merciful name of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ I pray,

Amen.

Lord, I pray that all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob - Romans 11:26 KJV. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus - 1 Timothy 2:5 KJV

Let Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven - Matthew 6:10 KJV

Hear my prayer, O Lord, for I ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who ever liveth to make intercession for us - Hebrews 7:25 KJV

Amen.
