After nearly a year of solo dev, I’m happy to finally unveil Monsieur Skin, coming soon to the counter strike world!
A freemium & unusual kind of platform focused on trading, not marketing. Some will hate it, some will love it (hopefully).

@Apollify@nwidynski@csfloatcom It’s not about holding balance, it’s about what would happen in the event of the site’s closure to any account holding even few cents, which could represent shit ton of money in total and according to the way they advertise, could be considered stealing
@nwidynski@csfloatcom I understand, especially if they try to not pay the base price of every stripe connect account (is it 2$ ?) I get how it would not respect stripe ToS but in what extend would this not be legal in banking ? You mean that they should have banking certifications to “freeze” funds ?
@nwidynski@csfloatcom Interesting, maybe could it be due to rushing their new system for the revert trade update ? Giving them more flexibility on balance transfers ? But yeah something is fishy around there
@nwidynski@csfloatcom in case of miscommunication between stripe and the website, you can’t take a screenshot to “prove” you have funds. Just classic protection for the site, nothing to worry about.
@nwidynski@csfloatcom From a developer (not lawyer) view: CSFloat uses Stripe Connect to manage actual users balances and account, the values displayed as CSFloat balances is only pulling from those. So yeah “CSFloat balance” doesn’t exist
