Creating beauty from tragedy.
In a season after deep personal loss, Maxim Naumov has presented two new programs that are unlike anything he has done before.
Filled with raw emotional power, the programs pay tribute to his parents, world champions and two-time Olympians Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov, and also look forward to a bright future as the USA figure skater eyes Milano Cortina 2026.
“It would mean absolutely everything for me to be at the Olympics and doing it for them would be even more beautiful.”

Last night, David Pastrnak and Nikita Zadorov greeted Maxim Naumov, the 23-year-old American figure skater who lost his parents and Skating Club of Boston coaches, Zhenya and Vadim, in the tragic plane crash earlier this year in Washington.
Maxim took part in last week’s ISU World Figure Skating Championships and received a lengthy standing ovation from the crowd at TD Garden.
Stay strong, Maxim!
@GrindLinePod After being a ref for a short while I'll always have sympathy for the referees. They can definitely get stuff wrong. I think reviews on injuries should exist, they wouldn't hurt. I'm sure the refs would be more than happy to get the call right in hindsight.
@s_fiend66588@popstar_averi@jedwill It's because of the compression, most people don't deal with what happens to the high ends when slapping hella OTT's on their sounds
If theres any plugin I want to see be successful, it's this one. I have spent a LOT of my time making this, and I'm forcing myself to put it out before I over-engineer it.
Thank y'all for downloading <3
To show how bad NA truly is now, Team USA was 1 of 2 actual teams who will compete in RLCS together (Furia). and just lost 2-0 to a team of 2 players whose teams weren't even ranked in the top 8 of rlcs last season from a minor region. GGs
