Following West Ham United's relegation at the end of the 2025/26 season, the upcoming Premier League campaign will officially be the first time in English football history that the top flight does not feature a single team whose name begins with the letter "W."
@Diffcentral Will be interesting to see what he does with Simic and Daland. On paper Daland seems his type of CB but not sure if he will want him now, as he didnt stay and help get promoted from L1.
@Insideclubs Only Wrexham, Lincoln and QPR have capacities smaller than 20k and 5 teams Wrexham, Lincoln, Preston, Bristol and Millwall, have never played in the premier league (not counting old division 1)
@StephenJCme@FootballLeagueW In L1, no one really successfully stopped Cardiff’s build up play with a high press. Teams like Lincoln, utilised a low block & tried to counter attack. Cardiff did beat higher level opposition, Wrexham & Burnley in the Carabao Cup. I think they will be fine, but time will tell.
@ThreeBluebirds_@BluebirdJonny I think the club should only pursue this case further, for the right reasons, which can only be at this point because Sala’s mother wants some justice for her Son. Outside of that the whole thing needs to be put to bed. I think a statement from his mother would help with this.
