@AughtonNeil@paulsissons1@EssexPR Mate. The original comment implies university is not worth it any more because you don’t get jobs aligned with that education level. I’m saying the same logic should apply to private schools. And the cost benefit ratio is even worse
@AughtonNeil@paulsissons1@EssexPR Of course not but he definitely didn’t send him their to become an electrician did he…if uni is a waste of money these days then you have to say private school is an even bigger waste
@paulsissons1@EssexPR What Adam doesn’t tell you is that he sent his son to private school which costs far more than university does. Did he have to go to private school to be an electrician? I don’t think so…
@EmmetGates I remember they showed this on match of the day after premiership highlights, even though it had nothing to do with English football - they just decided to show it because it was a great goal
@JGreenCrypto @Ryanelectricguy i started as a process engineer in manufacturing - i did 2 years abroad in italy then came back to uk with same company, when i was abroad i had a living allowance ontop of my salary which equated intotal with salary to about 40k but then when i cam to uk i lost this benefit
@Ryanelectricguy @JGreenCrypto I bought my first house at 27, i had saved £85k by that time i started working full time when I was 22 after uni - no debt and i didnt even take a student loan. That of course is not common by any means
@johannesmkx@AddyRoseFashion Switzerland is in Schengen and Norway and Iceland are in single market and pay a lot of money to be so. The UK now highly regrets this decision
