The UK capturing 48.4% of all European VC funding exposes Europe’s biggest economic weakness.
The UK has around 70M people and captures almost 50% of European VC funding, while the EU has more than 440M people and still struggles to finance its own scale-ups.
That is not because Europe lacks talent, companies, engineers, savings or industrial capacity.
It is because Europe lacks capital at scale.
EU capital markets remain too fragmented, too national and too bank-dependent.
The UK does not face the same problem because London has been the historic center of the global financial system for centuries.
If the EU wants more AI, biotech, defence tech, energy tech and industrial champions, it needs a real Capital Markets Union.
Innovation does not only need ideas. It needs capital at scale.
🧩 Notice the pattern: every single cause on this list traces back to the same upstream inputs I've been writing about. Stress. Sleep. Gut. Nutrition. Movement.
⚡ Autoimmunity isn't a separate problem. It's what happens when the whole system has been running broken long enough.

8 years of gut issues, brain fog and fatigue. Eventually found out my thyroid had been quietly failing the whole time. No doctor caught it. So I started studying the human body and how it works.
Background in finance, business, AI. I think in frameworks, not feelings.
Writing the system I wish someone had handed me at year one.
8. Lymphatic stagnation. Your lymphatic system clears cellular debris that triggers inflammation. No flow = no clearance = chronic immune activation. Movement drives lymph. Sitting all day shuts it down.

Fiber is the single most underrated nutrition intervention for longevity.
I eat oats every day for years and I love them.
My gastroenterologist checked my liver recently. Said it's in the top 1% for lowest fat he's seen.
📊 A 2024 review of 3.5 million people found that high fiber intake is linked to 23% lower all-cause mortality, 26% lower cardiovascular mortality, and 22% lower cancer mortality.

Practical Protocol:
The Food: 1 serving of lentils (15g) + 1 avocado (10g) + 1 cup of broccoli (5g) = 30g of fiber added to your day.
The Supplement: If using psyllium, start with 1 teaspoon and always drink at least 8oz of water per dose to avoid constipation. For therapeutic effects in IBS, studies suggest working up to 20–25g/day with 500mL of water.
