Today marks the first time Canada will recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation honouring the lost Indigenous children and Indigenous survivors of residential school, their families, and their communities 🧡. My wife, my youngest, and I walk with our parents.

We will be observing an hour of remembrance across Eeyou Istchee to honour the 215 children found at the Kamloops Residential School in Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation territory, and all others who lost their lives to the residential school system.

Teaching my 13 & 14 yr old boys how to travel safely with snowmobiles and carry essential tools. We explored Eeyou Istchee half way up Mistassini Lake to our camp. On our way we saw caribou tracks. 👍

Rupert River - Friday night we fished at the mouth of the Rupert River - (Mistissini Lake). This evening we are on the shores of Waskaganish...Rupert River flows out to James Bay. How cool is that!!! my oldest son accompanying me to my moms hometown.
