In one of Germund Paaer’s (1881–1950), born #OTD, 1930s draft designs the cross on the top of the monde of the Finnish grand ducal crown is that of the Order of the White Rose of Finland. Another design omitted the monde replacing it with the Cross of Liberty. #heraldry
