ಕೊಯಮತ್ತೂರಿನ ಇಶಾ‌ ಯೋಗ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಶಿವರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡೆ. @SadhguruJV ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿ ಶಿವರಾತ್ರಿಯಂದು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಡುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೆ, ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ನೋಡಿ ಇದು ಶಿವಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಶಿಖರ ಅನಿಸಿತು. ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಲ್ಲೇ ಶಿವನಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅದರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸ್ವಾರಸ್ಯಕರ ಸಂಗತಿ ಇದೆ.

ದೊಡ್ಡ ಆಲಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವಾಲ್ದಪ್ಪನ ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಇದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೇ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರೂ ಮೊದಲು ಹೆಣ್ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕೆಂಪಮ್ಮ ಅಂತ ಹೆಸರಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಅಂತ ಹೆಸರಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅದು ಪದ್ದತಿ. ಶಿವಾಲ್ದಪ್ಪನಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿ ಹರಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ನಾನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ಕೆಂಪರಾಜ್ ಅಂತ ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟು, ಆನಂತರ ಶಿವಾಲ್ದಪ್ಪನಿಗಾಗಿ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅಂತ ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟರು.
