While there is nothing inherently wrong with accumulating wealth, the angels in your grave aren’t going to interrogate you on your wealth. Whatever you do with it on the other hand can be of much more benefit. Always give and spend in the way of Allah❤️
When I die I hope I have at least been of benefit, shared knowledge, remembered well and more importantly Allah is pleased with me. We often get so caught up in this dunya, forgetting to build a legacy for the akhira. It honestly doesn’t take much, you don’t need to be rich.
@baphacongo@A6da11ah_M5 You got 40 million people in the south east of the country who would negate those facts and are a living fact. Even without pointing fingers or making it the main reason of tribalism( it’s a plethora of reasons for that) you can’t argue that it didn’t increase tensions.
Shehu Usman Dan Fodio fought Shirk in his lifetime. Today, his grave has been turned to an idol being worshipped. This explains why the Rasūl was emphatic in his supplication, saying, اللهم لا تجعل قبري وثنا يُعبد

This is one of the evils of burying the dead at home and discouraged in Islam. Bury the dead in an Islamic cemetery. Stop home burial!
Alhaji Aliko Dangote appeared on Channels TV and insisted that Nigeria needs to urgently invest in power infrastructure to achieve true economic independence. In layman terms, he's wailing about lack of electricity.
You can be sure of one thing: both the Nigerian government and local investors won't do anything about this call.
Then eventually Aliko Dangote will find his way around building power grids that guarantee 24/7 electricity to consumers. Suddenly, you will start seeing all sorts of patriots from Ministry of Power, NLC, TUC, DISCOS, GENCOs, NEPA, PHCN, Nitel, Mtel, Econet, PTF, Celtel and even APC, ADC and PDP coming on air to educate you on the dangers of a monopolist like Dangote! ~ Ibrahiym A. @baphacongo This statement isn’t true for every madhahib though… Actually would only be correct in shafi’i fiqh. In maliki, you would need the continuity of actions, dalk/rubbing of the skin. Hanbali and hanafi rinsing mouth and nose included.
The saddest thing is the father deliberately walking slow so that the IOF beasts would attack him instead of his son, and that his son will get a chance to run away.
This is what Israel does to ordinary peaceful Palestinians.
The strongest Muslims in Nigeria to me are the Muslims of Igbo origin. A lot of us that happen to be born in areas where Islam is the majority, no single resistance or persecution are just Muslims of Comfort; where you can freely practice your religion and no one points a finger at you. But you see the real MVPs? Our Muslim brothers and sisters of Igbo origin. >>>>>>>>
May Allah accept from us and them all, and keep us firm in his religion.
