Humans are social beings - virtual has been a helpful stop-gap and provided excellent support to some people, some of the time when face to face was not an option- we need to learn a lot more about the risks/ limitations and who it works for, when & how @makesmilk
Adults who grew up in unsafe or emotionally invalidating homes are primed to see danger & feel fear. This kept them safe as children. Now, as adults, they need help to re-train their #brainstem so they can feel safe & thrive. They need attuned systems & #relationships to heal

Under extreme pressure we are likely to make mistakes.
Take breaks.
Eat.
Have a drink.
Have a wee.
Read things twice.
Ask for help if you can't think straight.
We are a team. Let's support each other.

Watch t baby's eyebrows go up BEFORE the mum's head turns in response. That's an *expectation* of a reply frm mum - followed by a smile of delight in that confirmation. We all just witnessed a synaptic pathway of trust being wired into the baby's brain. Happy Sunday, all. :)
