So it finally happened, we’ve revamped the circulation desk area to become more of co-working space for the kiddos! This gives my students another social distancing space in the library. I’m not done yet, though! Learning environments do promote engagement and build community.
Everyone’s purpose is different. I’ve realized mine has been simple, “Leave it better than you found it”. There have been many occasions that I’ve missed the mark but this school year, I really want to focus on making the library a better place for my kiddos.#schoollibrary
For years, the @UofSC’s Center for Civil Rights History and Research has offered training programs to K-12 educators, exposing them to aspects of civil rights history through primary sources, lectures and historical site visits.
