@darthcaro Depression doesn't mean we aren't good examples of believers...scripture tell us Jesus was a man "acquainted with sorrow." Not a picture of bliss (confronting pharisees, final weeks, etc). He was gratiteful and obedient in spite of sorrow and nerves, not because He lacked them.

@ksorbs After the House voted 357-65 to bury H.R.1100 on transparency about who in Congress has used taxpayer dollars to make sexual misconduct charges go away, I have ZERO faith that Congress didn't already know the facts Tebow presented. They know; they just don't care.

Advice I use when picking names:
A name with a meaning a child can aspire to.
A name that will sound good said aloud in marriage vows.
A name that sounds solid in business introductions ("please welcome [xxx] to the team.")

If you're speaking of ONLY the book, yes could be subjective, but that's not how we apply it. Blaspheming the Spirit is denying witness of Spirit, regardless of subject.

Maybe this is more clear: the differences are in points of doctrine, same as with other Christians, and they seem to be able to coexist without claiming that each other "aren't Christians."

Mission presidents of areas are given authority to determine how standards are applied as long as they don't deviate, but this seems misaligned.

@GarrettGrimmett @bdots2020 @SenorVito9 By the definition that they believe in Jesus Christ as the only Savior of the world unto Salvation, yes. By LDS emphasis on intent, yes.
I do think they make doctrinal mistakes in the execution of their faith, but that's my personal opinion.

My learning within the Church, understanding, and practice has always been Bible and BOM are equal in authority and importance.
There are many conference talks by our leadership that address this.
