Once complete, this facility will:

🤝 Bring essential health services directly to the community.

Funded by @theGEF, the project will support climate resilience, ecosystem restoration & sustainable livelihoods in #SouthSudan.

The Juba Multi-Service Training Centre (MTC) received a donation of ICT equipment to enhance service delivery & protective gear to support trainees under the Skills, Employment & Empowerment for the Development of Youth (SEED4Youth) initiative from @NLinSouthSudan.

In partnership with UNDP & the Ministry of Labour, the Youth Employment & Empowerment Programme (YEEP) & the Skills, Employment & Empowerment for the Development of Youth (SEED4Youth) projects have enabled over 25,000 young people to receive skills training in 12 trades!

We joined the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs & Disaster Management & partners at the Validation Workshop of the Revised National Disaster Risk Management Policy. The policy will strengthen preparedness, coordination, & recovery to both climate-induced & man-made shocks.

We concluded a training, bringing together law enforcement officers, chiefs, government officials, community leaders & beneficiary groups to enhance understanding of trade, commerce & revenue laws, as well as gender-based crimes & referral pathways for survivors of sexual & gender-based violence (SGBV).

With support from @jica_direct_en, through the Improvement of Community Centers for Responding to GBV (CC4GBV) Project, we are strengthening protection mechanisms for women while expanding opportunities for economic empowerment in 🇸🇸!
