@kurinjipage When I first saw it, I was like…..it seemed they would have. But then…I saw what people were pointing out, and now I’m like “Yeah….that’s good symbolism.”
@yoracrab You make something official for a determinant game or media; it makes the choices written after that, “canon” and if the timeline isn’t built after, you can’t move forward. It’s a shot in the foot that they decided to make it in 2077. So if V comes up….”What do we make them?”
@yoracrab They mention one thing related to Arasaka. But yeah that does hinder their capability to write about certain things. Now if it were in the past, it would have made things easier and still in the anthology style. I feel that along with the fear of pushing elements, hindered them.
@DefiantLs Personally, as a Christian, the sad thing I've come to accept is… Christianity will matter in politics…when it suits a political figure or party’s support from the people. After that, what issue? They won’t pay attention if it isn’t a political or country-related matter.
@yoracrab That's what I was looking at too. Compared to season 1, this season felt too clean and safe. Besides a few things here and there it's more so Rated R with some padding.
@waltenconfess YEEES!! Thank you! Nothing excuses what Felix did which were crimes! Man gets his friend’s kids killed by mistake and covers his tracks purposefully using the river as an alibi. Even worse he plays off people going missing and hiding evidence for that too just for the business!
@AnimeBallsDeep Death Battle has rules shown during or at the end of its fights (usually in the credits). One rule is that both opponents must kill, regardless of their established morals beforehand.
lot of people whining that Goku used MUI + kaioken x100 are forgetting that the animation is mostly just a hype moments and aura spectacle and not actually representative of their fight and scaling
@waltenconfess I will say that it is a bummer the filter hides art details that are easy to get confused about if it isn't clarified or shown. I think as I saw in another comment, use it if it's taped, use it; if not, then don’t. Because it also begs th question of who recorded this and why.
@CyberCalix2 They said they knew it wasn’t canon, but they thought it was cool to use it anyway. They used it because it was a possibility in the fight. If it wasn't there, Saitama would have been punched into the Black Hole with a punch or a very powerful Perfected UI Kamehameha.
@pingachunga@luna_cipherwife Exactly! Because he's a Euclydian, he'd have a shape based name. (like his parents Euclid and Scalene) But it reminds him to just “Fit In” and so he disowns that name and tries to forget it as much as possible.)
@pingachunga@luna_cipherwife I think Bill is in denial and was trying to put up a front to not imply there was a dimension that loved him or even named him when he hated it. We know from Book of Bill he didn't want to make his backstory sound tragic at all so why not the ‘unspeakable name’ to top it all off?
@GarrettKeller11@ToonHive In mergers like these especially massive ones, they look at every department that gets affected, or even just looked at. Office politics are…shaky.
@Itssan17 Gunn in truth is a dark comedian and is better with Campy projects. He works best with guardrails. He can do serious but blends in some goofiness. Take those away, and he usually gets a lot more campy in many areas. Now that he has no guardrails, it spreads.
@waltenconfess In a sense of relating with Jack during the episode (not in image focus but how I cope and personality), when a loss or something of great magnitude happens, I usually try to process it, but also try to get back to some semblance of normal, in a way I can process it in private.
@CentaurusL4 You’re right! Initially, from an original reference of his appearance in episode 4, I thought these were cuts similar to how Bon mangles people but this makes sense with what he said that he got burned.
@yellowMF07 I mean….that would fit Martin’s motif for this series so far where the Waltens and no one else in this universe can catch a break especially Sophie. I bet Jenny’s going to investigate something without telling Soph and she gets lured by ‘Bon’ and gets got.
@waltenconfess I can't disagree with that since the VHS shift is due to it being an animated horror series now instead of an analogue horror. But the way I see it, since someone (somehow recorded it despite the format change), that's why it's the ‘Walten Files’ we are watching.
