I'm sorry Knicks fans, but last night was your last chance to pack the house in San Antonio, because I don't think this series is coming back. Reasons:

1. 13 in a row is no Eastern Conference-fueled fluke
2. The Spurs are indeed ahead of schedule, and it has caught up with them. Experience does matter
3. Fatigue from a physical playoff run has also caught up with the Spurs
4. Mitch Johnson is still figuring it out, too. Mike Brown has a wealth of experience and is winning the coaching battle
5. The amount of Knicks fans in the stands in SA has to have unsettled the Spurs, even just a bit. Must be weird for the home team, because I've never heard anything like that in their arena before
6. KAT is having his career moment--and good for him
7. SA may be the team of the future, but NY is pretty clearly the team of the present

The NBA Cup now has a solid reputation as a predictor of the Finals!
