Mark the calendar. We're having a dev conference call to brainstorm and discuss ideas for a next gen Kibble suite on Jan 7th, 2pm UTC. Details at https://t.co/QfKOVKXdrd - All are welcome to join 🐶🐱🐾
GitHub PRs are (esoterically) known as the modern greeting between developers. We've had over 200,000 of those so far at @theASF ! Keep 'em coming! #apache#opensource#metrics#community
Around 75,000 people have contributed to @theASF projects over the years, and every month we get to say hello to more than a thousand new faces. In case we missed you...Hi! Nice to meet you! We are Apache. #community#metrics#opensource#kibble
Sometime around 8 years ago, a thing happened. From having around 1,000 people actively working on @TheASF code/documentation, we now have nearly 12,000 people actively committed to our cause (defined as having contributed with code within the last 12 months). What a ride!
There is actually 520 million lines, if you include our website content (which is also available publicly in repositories), bringing us to a total of 3.2 million commits and 4.4 billion line changes.
We're working on testing Apache Kibble with all of Apache's 1800 public code repositories. Going to take a few days to count all the things properly, and NO PROMISES, but...214 million lines of code accounted for (3.1 billion line changes!) in under 24 hours :)
We are proud to be a @gsoc Mentoring Organization for the 13th consecutive year https://t.co/PrusrDiY2a ! Students: learn how to get started with dozens of Apache projects at https://t.co/DSXVy8aCL5 #GSoC2018#Apache#mentoring#development#community#GSoC
We're working on CI statistics now - queue sizes, waiting time, busiest jobs and what have you. Feel free to suggest a CI service we can add a scanner for, at [email protected] :)
Come see us this weekend at #FOSDEM in Brussels. We'll be showing off our 300+ projects, and have representatives there from several of them to answer your questions.
