The number one reason the turfgrass industry is the best? The people. This summer, one of our seniors, Abigail Norris, was visiting the West Coast and expressed interest in meeting the Golf Course Superintendent at the world-renowned Pebble Beach Golf Links. We reached out, and without hesitation, Mr. Peter Bachman responded immediately excited to welcome her on-site and share the incredible opportunities that exist within the turfgrass industry.
Moments like these have the power to change the trajectory of a student’s life. They open doors, inspire new possibilities, and demonstrate the strength of an industry that genuinely invests in its future. We are profoundly grateful for professionals like Mr. Bachman, and the countless industry leaders across the country, who have generously given their time, mentorship, and support to our students over the years.
The turfgrass industry doesn’t just grow great grass, it grows people, careers, and futures.
Good for Nelly
Good to have a great leaderboard
Good to have some future stars in the mix
Good for the US Open
Good for women’s golf
Good for the game of golf.
Win-win-win-win-win-win.
(I would have loved a 5 player playoff)

Last nights @ChicagoBears victory means the new surface @LevisStadium will officially be for #SuperBowlLX game day. Developing & sticking to a plan & having time on our side is a benefit. Great few days of progress so far w/ some favorable weather here in the Bay. #FromTheField
Was an interesting week! Monday @laserturf took out the 5 Gator Bowl logos and put new Tahoma in on Tuesday Morning followed by growth blankets until Thursday morning. As you can see in the second pic, the paint goes down through the soil, which also inhibits growth. 1&3/4” deep
Sneak peek from the Rose Bowl 🌹👀!
