He has a budget line in the NSC that deals with electricity charges, that does not mean the Ministry of Power would complain that it is supposed to be their Mandate, and as such should be mopped up.

I think President Tinubu @officialABAT has seen all our grievances, and he is ready to tackle it.
Two areas I want him to start from are:
- Judicial Reform; let the BVAS Bypass in the last Governorship election in Kogi State be corrected by the Supreme Court.
- Affordable Fuel

There are serious problems in our oil & gas sector, including confounding instances of corruption such as the oil theft ridicule. With the Dangote Refinery on stream, the problems are now popping up like popcorn. A hearty well done to the Nigerian Police Force for rescuing the Fouani brothers, including Abbas Fouani, Youssef Fouani, and Amtal Fouani, who had been abducted on the waterways of Lagos close to their house in Ikoyi.

In my statement calling for caution on this incident, I did express confidence that the Nigerian Police would rescue them, and it has now come to pass. We now expect that the culprits behind the dastardly incident would be unveiled and speedilyprosecuted, just as the Nigerian Police did in the case of Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, also known as Evans the Kidnapper, who initiated kidnap for foreign currency in Lagos.

It is not surprising to note that Peter Obi, who used their abduction to score political points on Sallah Day, as the Muslim Ummah observed Eid al-Adha, has remained silent over the rescue of the brothers. Perhaps he is not happy that they were saved.

It is also not surprising that Mr. Peter Obi has remained silent over the killings of at least five people in Anambra, his home state, yesterday. The men were members of a vigilante group. Of course, seeing as they were not killed in the North or Southwest, Obi will not talk.

If you are from Lagos, Ondo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa-Ibom and Cross-River, do note that the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway will explode the GDP of your states, by shortening the distance between you and both Lagos and Port-Harcourt by more than 50%.

And even if you are not from those states, or living there, you will also benefit from the increase in Nigeria's GDP that this project will unleash.

Yet, this is a project that Peter Obi says is unnecessary and wasteful. The same Peter Obi that did not build a single nursery, primary or secondary school or university, but built a $30 million brewery.

What is Peter Obi's message to you? Breweries are necessary, but roads are not. Beer is a HERO, but roads are a ZERO.

Remember this in 2027.

Saleh Fatima Alkali did not forge her result. She did not boast about it. She did not even publish it, She also did not compare herself to others. And did not gloat. She just scored perhaps the highest mark in the JAMB UTME Examination, and remained humble and modest. It was others who exposed her and praised her.

Apart from Fatima, at least 12 other Northerners also scored above 300. However, they did not make noise after making news. They simply praised God for His benevolence and went about their daily Jihad of self-conquest and self-development.

We can all learn something about Northern Arewa culture from Fatima.

Northerners, especially the Hausas, were literate, clothed and on horses five hundred years ago. They have also been going to Mecca on pilgrimage for the last 800 years.

And they were seasoned naval aviators thousands of years ago. The Dufuna canoe, excavated in Yobe State (incidentally, Fatima is from Yobe) is 8,500 years old, and is the second oldest canoe ever discovered on Earth.

That they do not boast about money does not mean Northerners are poor. The wealthiest man in Nigeria is a Hausa man, Aliko Dangote. His great-grandfather, Alhassan Dantata, was the wealthiest person, not just in Nigeria, but in West Africa.

Since the creation of Nigeria in 1914, there has NEVER been a time when the richest Nigerian was not a Northerner.

Yet, no Northerner has ever declared himself king of money in Hausa or any other language!

That they do not boast about inventiveness does not mean they are not inventive. Alhassan Dantata was not only the wealthiest man in West Africa in his day, but he was also the inventor of the famous groundnut pyramids a hundred years ago.

Jelani Aliyu, a Fulani, is the only person of Nigerian origin to have achieved international prowess in designing cutting-edge electric vehicles, including the Chevrolet Volt and the Pontiac G6.

In terms of Western education, especially the medical profession, they produced one of the world's best cardiologists, in the person of Jibril Aminu, a professor of cardiology.

And in terms of beauty, their women surpass any other in Nigeria.

Unlike empty barrels, who are so boastful, arrogant, without any sense of moderation and exultant in hubris to the extent that they look down on others when they are intoxicated by an achievement, mutanen Arewa tend to be modest even in the height of their accomplishments. Which is why God has seen it fit to entrust power to them.

BREAKING: The Federal High Court in Abuja has authorized the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to apprehend ex-Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State ahead of his scheduled court appearance on Thursday.

Justice Emeka Nwite approved the warrant earlier today upon the request of the EFCC.

The Kogi State High Court issued a contradictory ruling that prevented the EFCC from taking any action to apprehend, detain, or prosecute the former governor.
