Wow! Ownership of https://t.co/Qo8290Jj35 has finally migrated to the ApeWorX team.
Previously, the ApeWorX team took over the legacy Brownie framework and transformed it into Ape. Now they are basically shaping the entire Python tooling stack for Ethereum, similar to how @paradigm influences the Rust ecosystem.
I’m really happy about this because during Ape development we often ran into blockers caused by dependencies on https://t.co/Qo8290Jj35 internals. We had to wait for upstream updates before we could complete or merge many PRs. Now, as developers, we can move much faster and have much more direct control over the ecosystem.
Congrats to @fubuloubu

Most python libraries (like https://t.co/z5FyQWMYL3) previously maintained by the @ethereumfndn, will now be maintained by @ApeFramework. Super excited for the next chapter!
No action needed for devs. All issues, PRs etc have been migrated.
Installing also is exactly the same
End of an era, start of another 🫡. We're transitioning the maintenance and development of the web3 Python libraries that I've helped maintain the last few years, as part of the old @EthereumPython team, to the newly formed ApeWorX Collective. Happy to see them in good hands! :)
Just released @ApeFramework v0.8.50, a patch release with some nice UX improvements to shout out:
- will no longer fail immediately when you input your keyfile passphrase wrong, takes 3 attempts to fail
- makes proxy checks more efficient, avoids that annoying "call failed" log
It's never been more easy to take the dive and enjoy everything Ape Framework has to offer!
Have any questions? Want to experiment further? Need support?
We just made a new GH discussions page just for that:

NEW APE CONTRIBUTION JUST DROPPED 📢
Ever wanted to seamlessly shift from Brownie to Ape?
Ape contributor Vinod just dropped the perfect tool for you to get started. Apeshift lets you migrate large codebases with zero false positives/negatives!
https://t.co/jfsFDLDDAn
Big changes coming to Solidity soon 👀
R U Rdy?
Also, a good showing from all the Apes out there, now the most popular Python framework for daily driving!
welp @0xMidnight@fubuloubu
i think it works
even sends abi for clearer signing (though not quite as secure as some third party providing it)

For those using our `py-tokenlists` library, just released a fix addressing some long-standing UX issues with the library
TL;DR is now you can find tokens in different lists, as search can be chain agnostic and the user preference is now an ordering maintained in pyproject.toml
introducing twyne-cli
allows you and your agent to seamlessly interact with the protocol. discover protocol stats, track your positions, submit transactions. all within your terminal, built with @ApeFramework

We have integrated the @ApeFramework into our latest Python SDK version, strengthening the bridge between protocol development and quantitative research.
still in love with Silverback
a recent @fubuloubu update let me cut RPC usage on my bots by ~70x while also removing a bunch of code (which was already minimal)
ill try to post a small Silverback TLDR soon and open source a few bots
even with no coding experience and a bit of help from Claude or Codex you can build powerful stuff
stay tuned!
Our very own @fubuloubu appeared on @thebtcpodcast to talk about bots, AI, and a whole host of other stuff we know you'll enjoy!
Let us know where he should appear next and what topics we should cover!
Another episode coming at you where @Corpetty and @JessieBroke talk with @fubuloubu about @ApeFramework, AI in blockchain, automation, and our history in the industry!
