Unlike Donald Trump, President Obama respected the Catholic Church — even when he disagreed with it.

He didn’t call the pope “terrible.” He didn’t post social media images pretending he himself was the pope. And he most certainly didn’t depict himself as Jesus Christ.

He listened. He discerned. And he grew.

As he said himself at Notre Dame, the Catholic Church made Barack Obama a better man and a better president.

Let’s look at the facts:

This is one charged individual, not proof of a large-scale outcome-changing scheme.

Non-citizen voting in federal elections is already a federal crime.

The case is part of a DOJ/DHS push that later bundled 16 people in several states on related charges. The City of Lynn registered her after she signed the citizenship box; investigators later matched rolls to immigration records.

Charges are allegations. She is presumed innocent until convicted.

The Vatican has set a firm moral boundary: damage to nature is now treated as a sin against creation and against the Creator.

In September 2026 the Vatican published a long new text that widens Catholic teaching on duty toward the environment and treats grave harm to the natural world as a spiritual and moral question.

The document names pollution, the cutting of forests and the loss of living species. It argues that wrecking the environment can injure the planet, other people, those not yet born, and creation itself.

The stress falls on the poor, who often feel environmental harm first.

29,000 words. Three dimensions of responsibility. One claim: care for the Earth is not only environmental policy. For Catholics it is also a matter of faith.

@MeidasTouch @PeteHegseth idea sounds similar to what happened in WWII. Germany used “Pervitin” (methamphetamine) to make their troops nonstop killing machines that fed the Blitzkrieg. It’s sad any similarity exists.

We know how your department is known for questionable information.

So we have to ask: 1) what are the match criteria, 2) how many attributes have to match, 3) how many of the 300,000 have been cleared as citizens, and 4) how many of the 1,620 cases produced an indictment versus an administrative hold.

Until those lists and methods are public and checked by states, your large figure is an investigative pipeline, not a verified census of illegal voting.

The Pope is a political activist. He’s radical in the truest sense of the word: getting to the root of all things.

Catholic Social Teaching (CST) views politics not as a dirty word, but as a moral obligation and an essential way to express charity, human dignity, and the pursuit of the common good.

Voting and engaging in the political process is a charitable Christian duty.

You couldn’t read the U.S. Constitution on camera and complained that the 18th-century phrasing was "like a foreign language".

This was back in early 2017, shortly after you took office, you filmed a segment for an HBO documentary titled The Words That Built America in the White House.

Assigned to read Article II of the Constitution, you stumbled over the archaic and formal phrasing of the founding text.

You were visibly irritated by the reading, when you stopped the reading to tell the film crew, "It's very hard to do because of the language here.” You then remarked, "It's like a foreign language".

You praise a document you can’t even read let alone understand.

Trump has made America a thief in the night stealing oil and minerals from the Venezuelan people. We were not invited. There wasn’t a referendum on American occupation. Trump just took it to do with as he pleases. No one stopped him then and it seems nobody will stop him now.

Trump and his sycophants broke and are breaking international laws by occupying a sovereign nation and stealing its resources.

Hopefully the International Criminal Court will put out arrest warrants for Trump, Hegseth and Rubio. They will fear traveling outside the USA lest they be arrested in any country that accepts ICC jurisdiction (most countries do, we don’t).

@realDonaldTrump you told North Carolina families still digging out from Helene that extra FEMA money depends on Michael Whatley’s election. The crowd groaned. Then you called it a joke.

Jest is not a sacrament that washes the first sentence away. Disaster aid is not a campaign prop. When you say “if he loses, I’m not sending it,” people who lost homes hear a threat. “Only kidding” does not repair that.

You have used this move before. Aides call it humor. You later say, “I don’t kid.” So which is it this time?

If the money is coming no matter who wins, say so without the condition. If it is not, stop hiding behind a punchline.

Who taught you that a neighbor’s suffering and recovery is funny?

@AGToddBlanche You told the country there has never been a president more serious about stopping fraud and protecting the American taxpayer.

Then the same administration empties prison time and money judgments for convicted fraudsters—donors, celebrities, health-care billing convicts, and Adriana Camberos, who received clemency, committed a new fraud, and received clemency again.

Those are not two unrelated files. Fraud against Medicare, PPP, or grocery distributors is still fraud.

When officials hunt one class of thief and pardon another, the public hears a rule with an exception clause: justice for strangers, mercy for friends.

That is how trust dies. People will endure a hard crackdown. They will not believe a sermon on stewardship from a Justice Department that also wipes restitution owed to victims and to the Treasury.

If protecting the taxpayer is the mission, say so in one sentence that covers every defendant—not only the ones who never wrote a check to the right PAC.

Which standard governs your Department: the crime, or the company the defendant keeps?

The Pope is fulfilling his divine mandate talking about good stewardship.

This International Theological Commission document was written to assist the magisterium in preaching the Gospel in today’s world. It isn’t binding doctrine, an encyclical, or a change to the Catholic Catechism. The Church hasn’t added a new “eighth deadly sin” to the traditional list.

The commitment to steward and care for creation is first a spiritual and theological matter, then a social, economic, and political one.

Christ is Lord of all Creation. That is why we dedicate ourselves to cherishing and respecting Mother Earth as family.

This ruling did not legalize cheating; it froze new USPS rules so close to the midterms.

“Massive corruption” from the birthright decision and “trillions” from the tariff case are assertions, not findings in those opinions.

Alito and Thomas dissented. Your own appointees did not all stand with you.

If the facts were on your side, why do you keep needing the lie?

@POTUS, AI development is an enormous opportunity, but dismissing legitimate concerns as a “hoax” doesn’t make them disappear.

Several points in your argument deserve clarification. China is not doing “absolutely nothing” to regulate AI—it is aggressively investing in AI while also imposing substantial rules and developing AI-safety standards. Competition with China is real, but regulation and innovation are not mutually exclusive.

Google’s investment in Finland is real, but claiming it is “all because” U.S. permitting is too difficult goes beyond the evidence. Google has cited Finland’s existing data-center infrastructure, energy availability, and clean-energy advantages. That investment alone doesn’t prove that American regulation is driving AI development overseas.

And the people warning about AI risks aren’t necessarily trying to stop AI. Many are the very executives and scientists building these systems. Their argument is generally that development should proceed with safeguards capable of keeping pace with increasingly powerful technology.

Calling every concern about AI becoming dangerous a “hoax” also creates a false choice: we can pursue American AI leadership while demanding that the technology be developed responsibly. In fact, ensuring that AI is safe, reliable and trusted could strengthen America’s position rather than weaken it.

America should absolutely lead the AI revolution—but leadership isn’t simply about building the fastest or biggest systems. It’s also about having the wisdom to make sure those systems remain under human control.

If AI really is going to be the greatest economic engine in history, shouldn’t the people building it—and the leaders responsible for its future—be willing to make sure that it serves humanity rather than gamble on the assumption that nothing can go wrong?
