Respawn has clarified that RC filters are not bannable in Apex Legends.
Using them to exploit aim assist, suppress recoil, or run jitter aim is what will get your account suspended under the ToS.

EA has officially declared jitter aim and RC filters as cheating in Apex Legends.
The game now has built-in detections to catch them, and offenders will be flagged and banned under the TOS.

Respawn says they have considered vaulting weapons before, but they donโt believe removing entire guns changes the meta much more than major nerfs would.
They added that weapon variety is important for Apex as a Battle Royale, even if some guns fall out of the meta.
Respawn says they have โnever stopped prototyping new weaponryโ for Apex Legends.
However, the team doesnโt want to add a new gun just for the sake of expanding the loot pool. Instead, theyโre focused on improving and evolving the current weapon roster to keep it fresh.
Respawn also said the weapon meta team constantly looks at internal data, community feedback, and even regional weapon meta differences when deciding future buffs, nerfs, and adjustments.
They also said some changes come from designs that simply test well internally.
Respawn says the Hemlok Breach AR was designed to launch strong as a temporary Elite Weapon takeover, but its rise to the top weapon spot caught the team by surprise.
More Elite Weapon takeovers are also coming in the future, with lessons learned from the RE-45 Burst and Hemlok.
Respawn has addressed why the Apex Legends x Cyberpunk event has no Heirloom.
Devs say a single Mythic weapon takes as much time and resources as roughly 1.5 skins, so the budget went into the Skippy Alternator instead.

Season 30 Bloodhound buff details have leaked. Dropping on August 4, their passive and tactical stay untouched, but the ultimate is getting a full rework.
Perks are mostly new except Level 3 Left, which gets enhanced with 2 tactical stocks and a 5-second shorter cooldown.
