Claiming that Doctor Doom losing in Avengers: Doomsday is "confirmed" because of a post-credit scene and a leaked LEGO set is a complete leap in logic. Here’s why that theory falls apart under scrutiny:

Using toy leaks to predict narrative beats ignores how toy licensing works. LEGO sets routinely feature hypothetical action sequences or composite scenes created months before a film's post-production is finalized:

LEGO released sets with The Mandarin's flame-throwing car for Iron Man 3 that never existed in the film.

LEGO included Giant-Man fighting in Edinburgh for Infinity War, which never happened on screen.

Sets focus on playability and minifigure value, not chronological plot progression. A set featuring Doom or Battleworld elements tells us what characters are in the movie, not who wins in Act 3.

Assuming Battleworld must wait until Secret Wars fundamentally misinterprets the structure of two-part Avengers films. In the 2015 Secret Wars comic, the collapse of the Multiverse and the creation of Battleworld happen at the very beginning of the event. Having Doom build Battleworld at the end of Doomsday establishes the high-stakes playground for Secret Wars, defeating him early destroys the entire tension of a two-part event.

Avoiding the Infinity War structure ("villain wins first, heroes undo it second") by having the villain lose first, only to magically come back and win off-screen in the sequel, makes zero narrative sense. A villain who gets defeated in Movie 1 loses their threat factor for Movie 2. If Doom is beaten in Doomsday, the audience has no reason to fear him when Secret Wars rolls around.

Rumors, post-credit teasers, and toy packaging are marketing collateral, not script drafts. Jumping to conclusions about Doctor Doom's defeat based on a box of plastic bricks isn't film analysis, it's over-analyzing noise.
