@adamtaggart I disagree, low new car supply = future low used car supply. Less lease returns, less rentals. Will prices come down? Yes. As much as they did in 2008? No.
@EllinRaul@StratDevilDog Strike price doesn’t matter. Choose one that is affordable and has a tight spread. Less contracts means less fees. Or, when in doubt, just pick an at the money strike price.
@EllinRaul@StratDevilDog If the price of the underlying stock goes up, then the price of the option contract goes up. Same with down. So strike price really doesn’t matter if day trading. The spread is more important. A market order will land anywhere between the bid and ask.
@EllinRaul@StratDevilDog Not an expert by any means at all, but it depends on how long you plan to be in a trade for and your risk comfort. I primarily day trade and do best with the following Friday’s expiry. Helps me keep my losses small and my gains bigger. Also, you want a tight spread.
I decided to go back to following rules. Didn’t trade yesterday because of distraction. Drew my lines and broadening formations. Set targets. Chose less risky option expiries, took profits early and made successful trades. Imagine that. #TheStrat
Have had a tough time trading options over the last couple months. What I recognize as my biggest mistakes: 1- lack of planning. 2- lack of strategy. 3- trading offensively and not defensively.
