ये मार पिटाई हमारे पहाड़ के एक मूल निवासी युवक अजय तिवारी के साथ दुर्गा देवी रेंज क्वार्टर में वन विभाग वाले कर रहे हैं।
अजय भदूला ग्राम जमून ब्लॉक नैनीडांडा का गांव जंगल के रास्ते से होकर जाता है। इसमे जंगलात वाले इनको जाने नही देते हैं और इनके साथ मार पिटाई करते हैं।

मां नंदा की वार्षिक लोकजात यात्रा में वेदनी बुग्याल से वापसी में लौटते समय वाण गांव में ऐसे ही एक हस्तशिल्पि हुकुम सिंह जी से मुलाकात हुई। लंबे अरसे बाद तकली को अंगुलियों के इशारे पर घूमते हुए देखा तो बेहद सुकुन मिला.अपनी परम्परागत कला को संजोने के लिए हुकुम सिंह जी का आभार।
