In Prithvi Raj Chauhan vs Union of India, the supreme court has uphled the constitutional validity of parliament's 2018 amendment to prevention of atrocities act.

In this petitioners challenged constitutional validity and the three bench judgement by the supreme court has clearly upheld the insertion of section 18A.

So this legal advice is completely without basis.

Courts will knock off such petition in one hearing.

Oh, may be they will refer it to a larger bench.

Even then the larger bench will give it in favor of the union since the logic given in the above judgement is very fair and relies on many other judgements which are binding.

I dont understand how can a qualified supreme court lawyer not understand this.

If a cut off is reduced for reserved candidates, it affects efficiency, but if a cut off is reduced for general candidates, it does not efficiency.

Times of India had carried out a detailed analysis of why cutoffs are being reduced in Medical colleges.

The main reason is that cutoffs are reduced to place the seats on sale. Lower the marks you get, higher is the fees demanded by the medical colleges.

Every year, an artificial vacancy is created and then the cutoffs are reduced so that private colleges can benefit from it.

Now, when we see who benefitted from this, we can see that more than 4267 General category students benefitted from lower cutoffs and many of them getting clinical branches. Among them many got zero.

Even among OBCs, around 2000 students benefitted with lowest marks being 5.

Now relative proportion of SC/ST was very less and incidentally many SC/ST dont benefit from reduced cutoffs since all these seats are sold for a big price which they cant afford.

Now the reduced cutoffs is done to benefit the private colleges than the government colleges.

If you get 515+ marks, you can get a seat at Rs 45 lac, but you get 213+ marks, just qualified, you can still get a seat at Rs 1 crore.

This clearly shows that the problem with medical education is rapid privatisation and reduced seats which is enabling colleges to charge a bomb.

The only solution for this, ban these payment seats. Government seats should tripled and private sector involved should be reduced in Medical space

Also this concept of qualifying 12 students for every 1 seat should be done way with.

दोनों के लिखित परीक्षा मार्क्स में 43 ���ंबर का अंतर था लेकिन अपाला मिश्रा को 53 अंक इंटरव्यू में ज्यादा देकर उसे टॉपर बना दिया गया।

अगर रिया डाबी को इंटरव्यू में Apala mishra के बराबर अंक मिल जाते तो AIR 1 रिया डाबी होती।

SC/ST/OBC representation in Delhi's Elite School is near to Nil.
Even in government run Sanskriti School, the representation is as follows:
OBC - 1.37%
SC - 2.7%
ST - 0.72%

How Elite and Privileged structure avoid SC/ST/OBC students can be easily understood by this?

Most of the SC/ST/OBC kids study in tier 2 schools or government schools.

But you know what makes them successful.

The Hunger for Success...

The risk of not succeeding...

They know that there success is important for their families.

They take all the insults, get humilated and build themselves slowly.

When everyone sees an underdog in him, Dr Ambedkar saw a winner in him..

He knew that let us give him a small chance through reservation.

Today, when I see our kids topping the AIIMS medical exams, I can only say that Dr Ambedkar was correct. If given the access, our kids will surely be on top.

Im no great fan of these fancy elite schools.

But the fact that even government schools discriminate against SC,ST,OBC is clearly emerging from the data.

As you can see in the last column, the interview marks have made all the difference. Once there is transparency in interviews and as more marks are given to SC, ST, and OBC kids, they start capturing the general merit seats as well.

So when all students have the same marks in interviews and when interview marks are given without any prejudice, 25% of the seats of general merit will be occupied by SCs, STs, and OBCs.

So, I need to ask you one question...
