In my free time.... starting a MSFS global tour!
Will be flying the fantastic TBM 930. First leg is KHEF-KBGR, currently cruising along at FL240 - and thanks to the current arctic front have a ground speed of 440 kts
🧵here to track the progress. Who knows how long it'll take?
Interestingly, Rich's visa shows that it is for employment purposes - his sponsor is blocked out. Also valid for just shy of 3 years, Russian business visas are typically issued for no more than 12 months
USAF RC-135U Combat Sent c/s JAKE31 (#AE01D5) climbing out of RAF Mildenhall. Arrived from NSA Souda Bay on 3/13. Combat Sent collects technical intel on radar systems. Combat Sent was last in the region in Sept. 2021 #aviation#RussiaUkraine
Did you know Project Owl does more than just tracking planes, geolocating satellite images or discussing geopolitics? Our new Signals channel has been doing a lot of Open Source SIGINT! /1
Out of RAF Mildenhall is USAF RC-135W Rivet Joint JAKE11 (#AE01D1), should be headed to Eastern Europe to monitor #UkraineInvasion.
Arrived yesterday from Offutt AFB
As #UkraineRussiaCrisis escalates into war, watching USAF KC-135R LAGR220 (#AE04FE) out of RAF Mildenhall. LAGR flights this time of day have often refueled ISR flights in Eastern Europe.
Will be interesting to see who LAGR220 is going to refuel today, and where they go
Something has FORTE12 (#AE5420) headed back home. Whether its developments on the ground, or a mechanical issue, who knows #aviation#RussiaUkraineCrisis
Both aircraft (#N163PA and #N197PA) are multi-mission aircraft, most famous for infectious disease transport. They're inbound from NSA Souda Bay. Pure speculation, but a strong possibility that they're evac'ing intel personnel/equipment that can't be evac'd commercially
x2 Phoenix Air (U.S. gov't contractor) Gulfstream III's airborne over Ukraine. One of them is the "Ebola jet", an aircraft fitted with an airborne biomedical containment system, originally designed for transporting Ebola patients, but has a variety of other related uses.
@IntelDoge Hotwire hot deals are usually pretty solid. Can usually get a solid 3-4 star hotel for ~$100 a night. Also has still decent hotels for less than that

@StorgaardMikkel@HoghSorensen@TueGermundsson @SaitoJanus @SFSU If he’s a neo-nazi then fuck him. I’ve never heard of him before now, have 0 clue about Danish politics, just saw the tweet and when I read the email the red flags popped up. I’ll leave all the politics up to y’all, I’m just pointing out what doesn’t make sense to me
@mazspork @SaitoJanus @HoghSorensen All in all, from the grammar, vocabulary, and being familiar with student privacy laws, I can confidently say that the email is likely fake
@mazspork @SaitoJanus @HoghSorensen Providing records related to enrollment without permission would violate FERPA, and would get the university in a lot of trouble. Universities avoid violating that as much as possible (one big reason they participate in the Clearinghouse)
