The BJP left no stone unturned to completely hijack the Vidhan Sabha march in Jharkhand. Why on earth were political flags being paraded in a purely student-driven protest? Look at the Jantar Mantar protests in Delhi—people stood united under the Indian Tiranga alone. But here, the BJP systematically used the students' movement purely for their own political mileage.

It’s no surprise that their entire IT cell network suddenly backed the protest, while pro-BJP media houses and their cheerleading anchors jumped in to amplify it endlessly.

Students aren't fools. They see right through this dirty political game.

The brutal lathi-charge by the Jharkhand government on students peaceful protest is utterly disgraceful. Today, this isn't about whether students are protesting against a BJP-ruled state or a non-BJP state. The issue is crystal clear: students simply demand transparency in the education system, which is their fundamental democratic right.

We saw the same thing in Delhi when police lathi-charged students on the BJP's orders, and it ultimately led to resignations. Now, the JMM + Congress government in Jharkhand will also have to face the consequences of this violent crackdown.

This lathi-charge is nothing short of the murder of democracy.
