@anantgoenka Deplorable and Vexatious post by you regarding Hon'ble Justice Pankaj Bhatia
First your must gain some legal knowledge then you should make aspersions about a Judge of hjgh esteem and Compentence who has always upheld the integrity of Justice
Upholding the rule of law means protecting the rights of the accused even in the face of heinous allegations, ensuring that the legal process remains fair and unbiased in the interest of justice.
Thankyou @anantgoenka
Hope you learn something from your mistake.
Absolutely right sir
Because Grant of Bail is only till the conclusion of Trial
Vexatious Legal Journalism by @IndianExpress
Just because If a judge strictly adheres to the "liberty first" philosophy, they are following a path often encouraged by the Supreme Court itself
So what if they are all similar worded? Bail orders are not rocket science unless the state can show the exception to the rule should apply. Perhaps the Indian Express should hire some competent legal reporters for once.
"Bail is the Rule, Jail is the Exception"
The cornerstone of Justice Bhatia’s approach is the landmark principle laid down by the Supreme Court in State of Rajasthan v. Balchand (1977) and reaffirmed in P. Chidambaram v. Directorate of Enforcement (2019).
This principle dictates that pre-trial detention should not be used as a form of punishment.
As a trial can take years, or even decades, to conclude, keeping an individual incarcerated without a conviction violates Article 21 of the COI (Right to Life and Personal Liberty).
@RajanSi91@Benarasiyaa You forgot that Granting bail is not the same as declaring someone innocent or "letting them off."
It is simply a procedural transition allowing the accused to defend themselves from outside a prison cell until they are proven Guilty.
The Presumption of Innocence is also in force
@Benarasiyaa
The bail orders granted by Justice are based on the Landmark principle
Bail is the Rule and Jail is the Exception
Kindly see my post to aware some legal intricacies before criticizing someone for upholding the integrity of justice

The Allahabad High Court judge Pankaj Bhatia who requested the chief justice not to assign him the bail roster recently - after one of his bail orders was described as "most shocking and disappointing" by the Supreme court- gave bail in 508 of 510 cases of dowry death heard by his bench.
Upholding the rule of law means protecting the rights of the accused even in the face of heinous allegations, ensuring that the legal process remains fair and unbiased in the interest of justice.

@hbkismy1983@anantgoenka Just because If a judge strictly adheres to the "liberty first" philosophy, they are following a path often encouraged by the Supreme Court itself in various "*Arnesh Kumar vs State of Bihar*" guidelines, which aim to prevent arbitrary arrests in matrimonial disputes.
