These are the current Lokpal members, an authority meant to check corruption in the central govt. Most are retired judges or babus.
They’ve floated tenders to buy BMW 3 Series Li cars worth ₹70 lakh each for all seven.
Lokpal is the most incompetent anti-corruption body. It rejects nearly 90% of complaints, mostly because they weren’t in the prescribed format. Classical judge/babu whims! In five years, it received 8,703 complaints, ordered probes in just 24, and granted prosecution sanction in only six.
Itna to ye log corruption nahi pakdte jitni sarkari suvidhaon ka maza loot lete hain. Ab inko BMW chahiye.
If you’re shocked that the BJP govt in MP is defending 73% reservation in the SC, here’s some perspective:
The NDA govt in Bihar is in the SC challenging the Patna HC’s order that struck down attempt to raise reservation to 65%.
In Maharashtra, the NDA govt passed a law in 2018 increasing quotas to 68%, which the SC later struck down.
In Karnataka, the BJP govt in 2021 filed an affidavit seeking to lift the 50% ceiling on reservations.
The takeaway is simple: on the issue of reservation, political parties of every stripe behave the same. Many states have already breached the 50% limit, others are waiting their turn, and eventually one Supreme Court bench will validate it, after which the floodgates will open.
So if you belong to the unreserved category, don’t waste energy crying about it. Democracy runs on numbers, and you don’t have them. So fight this legally for as long as you can, but don’t wait for the courts to secure your future. Be your own saviours: work harder, back each other, build wealth, raise families, create a lasting legacy, and ensure your children never have to rely on the govt to survive or succeed.
Desh ka yuva Saiyaara naam ki film dekh kar toot toot kar ro raha hai. Isko roka jaana chahiye. I think cops storming in for a quick lathicharge during the end credits might help snap them back to reality.
Soumyashree Bisi, 20, a B.Ed student at Fakir Mohan College, Balasore, approached her HoD, Samir Kumar Sahu, for help with her low attendance.
Sahu allegedly demanded sexual favours in return. She got angry and left, but he kept repeating the demand and threatened to lower her marks if she refused.
On July 1, She filed a complaint against Sahu with college authorities. During the internal probe, she realised the college was protecting the HoD.
As an ABVP member, she hoped for help from the BJP govt at the state and centre. She created an X account and tagged the Odisha CM, state ministers, union education minister, NCW and others for help, but no one responded.
On July 10, the internal committee cleared the HoD. Principal Dilip Ghosh offered her “counseling” and told her to withdraw the complaint, warning she could be rusticated.
On July 12, she staged a protest on campus, met the principal and HoD, then poured petrol on herself outside the principal’s office and set herself on fire. She died two days later in hospital.
When alive, she begged and pleaded with everyone, hoping someone would listen. No one did. Once she hurt herself, suddenly everyone woke up for damage control.
HoD Sahu was arrested, and Principal Ghosh suspended. The Higher Education Dept launched an inquiry; NCW and NHRC began probes. President Murmu visited.
The Governor sought a report. NHRC and UGC issued directives; the govt told colleges to ensure ICC compliance. CM Majhi promised strict action and ₹20 lakh compensation.
All students should be equal in the eyes of the rulers. But if a student loyal to your ideology begs your govt for help and still dies like this, it’s betrayal by the very system and party she trusted.
Shame on Odisha govt. Shame on BJP.
Even if the husband has no source of income, he is still required to pay maintenance.
In case he dies, maintenance can be claimed from his father.

Divorce is a full-fledged industry. See who all earns from divorces:
-Spouse
-Lawyers
-Judges
-Mediators/Arbitrators (appointed to facilitate settlements)
-Notaries and Document Drafters
-Court Clerks (“fees” for faster case processing, accessing documents)
-Judges' Staff (typists, peons, runners, munshis, orderlies, drivers)
-Police
-Counselors and Therapists
-Forensic Experts
-Accountants (forensic audits to track assets, income, or hidden wealth in settlements)
-Asset Hiding Networks (professionals aiding in hiding or siphoning off assets for one spouse)
-Loan Providers
-Real Estate Sector (transactions from selling jointly-owned assets or buying properties with settlement money)
-NGOs and Activists
-Fake Witnesses
-Landlords
-Packers and Movers
-Private/govt transport and hotel industry for movement for court dates
In the USA, the divorce industry is considered to be larger than Hollywood in terms of valuation. India is heading down the same path.
I'm not against divorces. It's better to leave rather than staying in a toxic relationship all your life. My argument is against highly biased extreme laws and rampant corruption that has turned divorces into a well-oiled machinery benefiting numerous stakeholders.
"Justice is Due.”
These words were scrawled across an A4 sheet glued to Atul Subhash’s chest, a top AI expert in Bengaluru, when his lifeless body was found. The scene unraveled a grim story—a man cornered by the weight of relentless harassment, both personal and legal. (1/15)
These two women took the life of an innocent Bengaluru-based senior software engineer, Atul Subhash.

Heartiest congratulations my friend @realDonaldTrump on your historic election victory. As you build on the successes of your previous term, I look forward to renewing our collaboration to further strengthen the India-US Comprehensive Global and Strategic Partnership. Together, let’s work for the betterment of our people and to promote global peace, stability and prosperity.
I strongly condemn the deliberate attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. Equally appalling are the cowardly attempts to intimidate our diplomats. Such acts of violence will never weaken India’s resolve. We expect the Canadian government to ensure justice and uphold the rule of law.
I strongly condemn the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians, and other minorities who are getting attacked and looted by mobs in Bangladesh, which remains in a total state of chaos.
It would have never happened on my watch. Kamala and Joe have ignored Hindus across the world and in America. They have been a disaster from Israel to Ukraine to our own Southern Border, but we will Make America Strong Again and bring back Peace through Strength!
We will also protect Hindu Americans against the anti-religion agenda of the radical left. We will fight for your freedom. Under my administration, we will also strengthen our great partnership with India and my good friend, Prime Minister Modi.
Kamala Harris will destroy your small businesses with more regulations and higher taxes. By contrast, I cut taxes, cut regulations, unleashed American energy, and built the greatest economy in history. We will do it again, bigger and better than ever before—and we will Make America Great Again.
Also, Happy Diwali to All. I hope the Festival of Lights leads to the Victory of Good over Evil!
