@AbhishBanerj In India, any petrol car manufactured prior to April 2023 is typically not certified as fully E20 compliant. Using 20% ethanol-blended fuel in these older vehicles can corrode fuel lines, damage rubber seals, and cause engine knocking.
@AbhishBanerj Arey chacha chyawanprash, atleast tell them to give an option of e10 with higher price than current base price and make e20 slightly cheaper. Ppl with non compatible cars are forced to fill up 100 octane fuel right now which costs 170 rs per ltr.
@amitmalviya I dont think ppl have issue with blending petrol with ethanol. The main issue is with e20 compatibility. after so much uproar the government is still unable to understand the main issue. If a car is e10 compatible, why e20 is made mandatory. Atleast give option of e0 as well.
@malvika_bg@ValueWithPrem Yes absolutely, this brand loyalty, elevating one bdand over other is of no use. In case of AC best thing is to find out which company provides best service in your own area. Currently where i live, haier provides best service experience.
