Bravo to President Trump, Secretary Hegseth, and AFRICOM for eliminating Abu-Bilal al-Minuki and other ISIS leaders responsible for Islamist violence against Christians in Nigeria.
More Christians are murdered in Nigeria for their faith than anywhere else in the world. Nigerian officials have created an environment that encourages that violence by enforcing blasphemy laws and looking the other way at the atrocities.
I've been working to highlight the officials responsible and pass legislation holding them accountable. The U.S. knows who they are.
I have just read something shocking about Kabiru Sokoto, the terrorist who carried out the 2011 bombing of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Madalla near Abuja, and was arrested while chilling at the Borno Governor’s lodge, when Vice President Shettima was Governor.
The young man, who was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Abuja High Court on 20 December, 2013, has filed an appeal, and as the report says, he may be freed.
This is coming after 13 years of his imprisonment. He couldn't appeal in those years until Shettima became Vice President.
What plans do they have up their sleeves?✍️
A Nation Losing Its HUMANITY.
Some events shatter a society so deeply that words are no longer enough to express the shock; the brutal killing of a teacher and the horrific rape and murder of an elderly woman are among such tragedies. These are not isolated incidents but signs of deeper moral and social decay.
How did we get here? How did we reach a point where teachers are hunted and killed, and the elderly—custodians of memory and wisdom—suffer such dehumanising violence?
This is more than a security crisis; it is a failure of collective humanity. We have become desensitised, consuming tragedy briefly and moving on, allowing indifference to normalise the unacceptable.
To the families affected, I share in your grief. But grief alone is not enough.
We must demand accountability and urgent systemic change. If such atrocities no longer move us to action, then we risk losing our shared humanity. -PO

@instablog9ja I don't admire @officialABAT but one impression he's trying to correct is that, the North alone cannot decide who becomes Nigerian President.
@Waspapping_ who's dreaming of handing Nigeria to someone.
With middle belt states tinubu will win without core North support.
